So... This is my weird thing of the day, showing up on my Reddit feed with no explanation, and people speculating like mad, with nobody sure of what was going on, though there was mention of a possible airliner connection.

After trying to figure out what sort of uber-tech the woman in black was climbing up on and whut the thing could possibly be for, (and coming up with nada) I did several YouTube searches with no luck, until finally striking paydirt. This is supposedly an art exhibit called Continental Breakfast....

Alrighty then.

So ok, now that my uncontrollable curiosity is satisfied, the question is, am I a Neanderthal who just doesn't understand modern art because all I see is wymen with their butts in tha' air?

Disclaimer: I'm not complaining, I am in fact a longtime fan of wymen with their butts in tha' air...

One of my first thoughts besides the inevitable WTF was one of sympathy for the backs of the wymen caught in these contraptions.....

Like you said "butts in the air is awesome". I haven't seen anything like it before. But I like how it mixes a modern look and putting a woman into a sense of vulnerability.
Gets you thinking. How the modern era of technology has us all vulnerable to the machine.

Haha. Don‘t fall for this pompous artist talk. He hacked the established prudish art audience by getting them sexualized and providing a preposterous story as an excuse. Real SM hardware would have done the same job ;-)
Machines, making you vulnerable are smartphones and KI – but not in a physical way.

The "Artwork" needs nude models with ball gags and ring gags.

The narration on that YT was such an utter crock of BS. I don't know WTF was going on there. Trying to be edgy, but wearing a depends? Nope.

If art needs to be explained then it stops being art to me.

Finally, somebody said it. No offense to anyone or their art, but it ruins the enjoyment if I need someone to explain what it is / why it's good.

For me, art is subjective and introspective. I stick hard to this as a definition from MovieBob at 9:23. Continental Breakfast, to me, is art. It's bad art. There's little to no introspection and it's definitely not subjective. It's a woman in an office boss' outfit kneeling in an sex device. Purely shock value. It shows and does nothing.

It's sexy as hell though...
