Water Works 2 brings a new level of institutional water related peril to your rendering tool box. Clever new devices and gorgeous interior set will expand your library and possibilities.
IMPORTANT NOTE
For correct performance of this product it is imperative that for the Dunker 1, Dunker 2, Hoist and Tank 1 poses that VERY specifically named characters are used in the scene.
A single character pose such as Dunker 1 (1 Person Setup). Dunker 2, and Tank 1 requires a character SPECFICALLY named “Genesis 8 Female”
A duo or 2 character pose such as Dunker 1 (2 Person Setup) requires characters SPECFICALLY named “Genesis 8 Female” and “Genesis 8 Female (2)”
A trio or 3 character pose such as Dunker 1 (3 Person Setup) requires characters SPECFICALLY named “Genesis 8 Female”, “Genesis 8 Female (2)” and “Genesis 8 Female (3)”
Props or Figures used in these poses must also be SPECIFICALLY named for example “Dunker 1” not “Dunker 1 (2)” or “Dunker 1 (3)”
If you receive and ERROR MESSAGE which you WILL if the properly named props are not present in the scene if this occurs double check the naming of the character and props in the Daz Studio Scene Tab.
ALSO AN IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION
The complex wearable presets contained in this set not only pose the character but apply and align props to the character as well. These poses and prop alignments are guaranteed to be “relatively precise” when properly applied to a BASIC DAZ STUDIO GENESIS 8 FEMALE. Use of this product on a character that is even the slightest deviated from a Basic Genesis 8 Female negates ANY guarantee of “relatively precise” posing and prop alignments to the character. It is recommended to first apply the presets in this set and then apply any other morphs or characters that do not deviate the poses and prop alignments beyond your desire or abilities to correct them.

- Bubbles: No water peril set is complete without some simple bubbles. Add them to your underwater scene as needed and as many times as needed.
- Building: This is the heart of the Water Works 2 package. It features a long, narrow staircase that leads down to the main floor level. This main floor has 3 rolling doors on each side for 6 cells you can add to your scene. All elements of the building can be moved out of view for better camera viewing angles.
There are 6 ceiling lights, each can be moved and symmetrically mirrored one side to the other. There is an optional arched ceiling above the main ceiling if you want to change the style. The main floor and all other elements are linked to the "base" figure which is a non-rendering diamond shaped object in the middle of the scene at floor level. This base allows you to move the entire scene around. The base also allows you to hide or move from view the "floor" so you can use the pool figure without interference. The pool has its own floor plane with a cut out for the pool/tank.
The roll up doors can be moved upward to reveal a viewing window with blank space behind it. This space can be taken up by the "cell" figure that is included in this package. It's more or less an observation room. By default, the building figure has no cells in the event you don't want to use any in your scene and don't want to take up memory resources.
Pose files are provided for some ceiling and floor options and material pose files are provided to switch between grunge style texture and utility style textures.
These two texture options match the styles used in Davo's "Grungeon" product if you want to mix and match the sets.
The Combo library (subfolder) has some pre-parented room options that include cells, pool and a mix of cells and pool. These figure are already pre-parented and you can simply remove elements you don't want to use.
- Cell: This is an observation room that fits behind the roll up doors on the building figure. This room has a watertight door, 2 posable lamps and a water/fluid level beneath the floor. It also has some floor drains to the sides. You can use this room as an interrogation chamber or water peril room. You can place as many of these rooms in your scene as needed, however, a pre-parented building/cell figure is provided in the "combo" library.
There are 2 texture themes to choose from: Grunge and Utility. You can change the texture themes in with the material pose file in the pose library.
- Cell Chain Wall: This is a matching standalone wall figure that you can place in the cell and use for chaining your characters up to it. There are some chain pose files to use in the pose library. Simply use your chainset/G8F setup then place them up against the wall and parent the chain to the wall.
- Chain Set 1: This is a 4 chain/mount system. It is symmetrically mirroring for faster character/chain posing, simply pose one half and mirror the results to the other.
Pose files are provided in the pose library for the chain set and matching poses for G8F.
Some of the poses are specifically fit to the cell room ceiling and side walls.
- Chain Set 2: This is another chain/mount system with two chains instead of 4.
It is symmetrically mirroring for faster character/chain posing, simply pose one half and mirror the results to the other.
There is a non-rendering spherical shaped figure in the middle of the chain set, you can use this to move the whole chain set around.
Pose files are provided in the pose library for the chain set and matching poses for G8F.
- Dildo Mount: This is a repositionable and posable Dildo stand you can attach to a wall or other surface, for example, the plank on the "Dunker 2" figure. It has a poseable base and Dildo. Most parts on this figure have some size/shape morphs for custom fitting and design.
- Dunker 1: This is a classic water wheel peril device. It can be used to continuously dunk your character over and over again. It has a repositionable control panel and lever. The wheel can spin and the wheel axle base can move up and down. Some parts have size/shape morphs for custom fitting. There are 3 cuff mounting bases hidden inside the axle and each base has 4 cuff mounts to secure your figure to the wheel. The mounts are symmetrical mirroring.
There are preset pose files in the pose library for up to 3 characters to fit the wheel. Parent your character to the "hookBaseA, B or C" body part using the included presets.
There is a pre-parented Dunker/Pool Platform figure available in the "combo" library.
- Dunker 2: This is a modern/classic water boarding device with posable lever and repositionable cuff mounts. You can use this figure to dunk your characters head-first into the pool or another water source. Many parts of this figure have some size/shape morphs for custom fitting. Pose files are included for the Dunker and matching poses for V4. Parent G8F to the dunkers "plank" body part before applying poses. You can also mount the Dildo Mount to this figure if you'd like. Get creative. There is a pre-parented Dunker/Pool Platform figure available in the "combo" library.
-Hoist Crane: This is a simple hoist/crane with motorized chain mount system. Many parts on this figure are morph size/shape adjustable. You can slide the motor along the top bar to move it away from the crane base. The chain has many segments so it should be long enough to reach into the pool. There is also a posable lever and control panel that can be repositioned if wanted. There are some chain poses in the pose library that hide segments of the chain inside the motor housing. You can use these poses for progressive scene shots. There is a Hoist "cage" and Hoist "Restraint 1" figure that can be used in conjunction with the Hoist Crane figure, see notes below.
- Hoist Cage: This is a simple cage that you can suspend from the crane hook. The cage has some size/shape morphs for custom sizing, the top hook mount is poseable. Pose files are included for the cage and matching poses for G8F. There is a pre-parented Hoist/cage/Pool Platform figure available in the "combo" library.
- Hoist Restraint 1: This is a clever restraint device to use in conjunction with the Hoist Crane figure. The restraint has size/shape morph adjustable parts that let you do custom fitting and design. There are posable hook mounts at the top and bottom of the figure. Pose files are included for the restraint 1 and matching poses for G8F. Parent G8F to the restraints "base" body part before applying poses. There is a pre-parented Hoist/restraint/Pool Platform figure available in the "combo" library.
- Hoist Lever Xtra: This is an extra lever in case you'd like to use it for another purpose.
- Hoist Chain Xtra: This is an extra chain with chain collar. It works the same as the Hoist Crane chain and hook. If you want to attach anything to the chain, parent it to the "hook" body part.
- Pipe Set 1: This is a room clutter prop that looks nice placed up against it wall. It's got size/shape morphs so you can fit it most places. There are 3 poseable control wheels on this figure.
- Pipe Set 2: Another room clutter prop that looks great up against a water tank or some item about to be filled with water.
- Pipe Set 3: This is a simple pipe that can be placed up against a tank or behind a wall to make it appear as a water spout. It has some size/shape morphs.
- Pool Platform: This is a simple platform that can be placed over the pool figure. It has a swiveling pank that allows you to walk out over the water. The platform and plank have size/shape morphs for custom fitting and design. There are several platform and device combos on the "combo" library, saving you some setup time.
- Pool Platform Xtra: This is an extra plank you can add to the pool platform or for any other purpose you want.
- Pool: This is a very cool pool/tank figure. It's got its own floor plane that can be used to replace the floor on the building figure (pose file provided for building figure to hide the floor, also pre-parented pool/building setup in the combo library. This pool has a lower level floor so you can view the pool like a viewing window from below. The pool has an optional water tight door, optional tunnel that can be used to allow a creature into the pool and a lid that can be added to the pool in case you want to raise the pool above ground to act as an isolation room or large viewing tank. Please note there is a flat water plane inside the tunnel you will have to manually adjust width and height to match the water level of the pool water if you choose to use the tunnel posing option. Pose files are provided in the pose library for the door/tunnel configurations.
- Pool Tank: This is the same tank as the pool figure, but without the floors and it has been raised to above ground level. There are still water tight door and tunnel parts with pose files to chose the different options.
- Restraint 1: This is a cross style restraint you can use to restrain your character to as the pool or tank fills with water. It has size/shape morphs for custom fits and design.
Pose files are provided for the restraint and matching pose files for G8F in the pose library. Parent G8F to the restraints "base" body part prior to applying poses.
- Tank 1: This is a versatile water tank with some clever and devious restraint styles. It has a poseable fluid level build into the tank. There is a unique "yoke" style neck and arm restraint inside the tank or you can use the feet stocks at the top of the tank to suspend your character inside the tank upside down.
The door can open and close and the door lock knobs are poseable.
Pose files for the Tank and matching poses for G8F are provided in the pose library. Parent your character to the tanks "base" body part before applying poses.
