Throughout history, humankind has always looked towards the skies hoping to find evidence that would prove they were not alone in the universe. What if someone – or something – is looking back at us waiting for their chance to visit or INVADE our planet!
Renderotica’s Alien Invasion Render Contest is back and we are looking to you – our talented community of artists – to show us all the wonders and horrors that an encounter with alien life may bring to our world.
Prizes shall be awarded for first, second, and third place, as well as two honorable mention prizes, as determined by the panel of judges described below. These prizes shall consist of the following:
FIRST PLACE:
$150 Store Credit + 3,000 Points*
Plus 1 Month Premier Advantage **
SECOND PLACE:
$100 Store Credit + 2,000 Points*
Plus 1 Month Premier Advantage **
THIRD PLACE:
$50 Store Credit + 1,000 Points*
Plus 1 Month Premier Advantage **
HONOURABLE MENTIONS:
Two honourable mention prizes include 500 Points* each

[1] All images must adhere to Renderotica’s Community Policies. As such, absolutely no images involving bestiality (as defined by the Community Policies) OR underage models of any kind will be allowed. (IE: NO KIDS, or child like figures) Any image that does not adhere to the TOS will be deleted without notice. For the full definition of the Renderotica Community Policies, please click (HERE). [2] Participants are allowed to submit up to TWO (2) ENTRIES. Prizes will be awarded on the merit of individual entries, but no single artist shall be selected for more than one winning place (either First, Second, Third or Honorable Mentions).
[3] All entries MUST have an identifiable Sci-FI / Alien Invasion type theme, and should remember the intent of the contest. Entries can be of any media so long as they do not break the Community Policies. ABSOLUTELY no child figures should be present in any image. Contest images must be new and may not be presently posted in any other gallery. AI generated images will not be considered for prizes as our Render Contests are to reward artist's skills in posing, material use, lighting and composition. Images sizes have the same restrictions for image size as the Main Gallery.
[4] The contest shall begin on Friday, March 10th 2023 and shall end at approx 11:59p.m.. (EST) on Sunday, April 9th, 2023. All times will be American Eastern Standard Time. The contest will be officially opened and closed with opening and closing images posted by Community Manager Teronsuke. Entries posted prior to or after these images have been posted will not be considered for the contest and will be moved to the Main Gallery by a member of staff.
[5] Prize winners shall be announced on or before Friday April 21st, 2023 in a forum thread & Blog post specifically created for that purpose. In addition, prize winners may also be listed in our newsletter. All prizes will be awarded to the winners accounts within 72 hours of the winners being announced, and may also be contacted via sitemail by Teronsuke
(1) Simply upload your picture/s to the Contest gallery "2023 Alien Invasion" within the deadline dates. That's all there is to it!
Entries submitted before the "Contest Opens" or after the "Contest Ends" images will not be considered for judging and will be removed from that gallery.
The contest will be judged by a panel of judges. All judges’ decisions regarding entry deletions, winner status, and all other aspects of this contest are final and not open to debate or negotiation. Judges will decide on the winners based on (in no particular order)
Adherence to the theme
Composition
Posing
Lighting/Materials
This contest is not open to the judges, or the admins or moderators of Renderotica or any individual offering any prizes used for the contest. All other members in good standing who are using their current login name may enter. Members who have been banned and who enter this contest using another login name will be disqualified. Members who submit more then two entries or multiple entries under more than one username will have all of their entries disqualified.
Notification of winners and prizes will be by posted in the General Discussions Forum on or before Friday April 21st, 2023 by midnight, EST as well as a mini thread in the contest forum and blog entry.
(1) Any contest announcements or updates will also be posted here. It is the responsibility of all contestants to stay updated of contest rules and status.
2) Prizes will be awarded within 72 hours of the winners being announced
3) Store Credit prizes must be spent in the store and are not convertible as a payout.
4) Prizes may not be substituted for other prizes, cash or credit.
5) Prizes may not be transferred to any other person.
