1) what brought you into 3D Toons?
I always enjoyed painting, but I had never been able to achieve the effects I wanted. Poser/Daz Studio gave me a way do that. So in 2002, I bought Poser 4.
2) How did you choose your nickname?
It’s kind of a play on Damsels in Distress, except I’m not exactly in distress… J
3) How long have you been creating your artwork?
Eleven years.
4) Where do you draw your inspirations from?
I find a lot of inspiration in the work of artists like Kristin f, Shadoman, Man of Steel, Veneca, and Choppski, just to name a very few.
5) what are the specs of your render machine?
30 gigs of ram, 8 cores AMD, Windows 7 Professional
6) what is your favorite work you’ve created?

7) Out of all the various art mediums why 3D?
It’s a cross between art and photography that I find satisfying and challenging.
8) What are your plans for the future?
I hope to keep improving my work so I can use it to make covers for my books.
9) who are your favorite artists other than yourself?
Kristin F, Man of Steel, Choppski, Shadoman.
10) If someone reading this wants to start creating their own artwork what words of advice would you give them?
I’d suggest starting with Daz Studio, since it’s a free program. You need to be patient and use the parameter dials rather than trying to move the character’s body parts.
11) When developing your pose & animation sets, what's been your most influential source for ideas?
My active fantasy life.
12) Any hints on what your next project is going to include?
I plan to do a series of renders based on real life BDSM, rather than the fantasy version.
13) Do you have a job outside of 3D or do you consider this your full time occupation?
I’m an erotic novelist.
14) With all the recent advancements in 3D technology what excites you the most? What do you dread the most?
Lux, the Genesis 6 figures, and Reality. I actually rather enjoy learning to master the software, though it can be difficult.
