Renderotica: Could you give us a little background information about yourself?
Rakshasan: I am a software developer by profession, and a geek of all things tech. I enjoy setting them up and tweaking it to perfection :-)

Renderotica: How did you get started in 3D Art and what influences did you have that led you to the style of art that you do?
Rakshasan: Work From Home during Covid essentially was the litmus. I don't quite remember what I was searching for, but I stumbled upon Daz Studio. Downloaded it and started playing around with it, and became quite addicted. Initially, I was struggling for ideas on what I could create. Then, later, started to create risque scenarios in a story form - basically of strong women in peril, and that has been the theme of my renderings since.

Renderotica: If someone were to ask what style of art you do, how would you describe it? What special interest does that hold for you?
Rakshasan: Realism - that would be it. Creating a digital art that is sometimes hard to differentiate from reality - I think that's something!

Renderotica: Could you describe the process you go through to set up and render an image?
Rakshasan: There really isn't a process. Coming up with a scenario after you've run through the initial flood of ideas is the challenge :-) It is just picking up on a thread from here or there, maybe a plot from a TV show, and twisting it to the theme I work in, and then start creating a sequence of frames making up that situation or story.

Renderotica: What advice would you give to those just starting out in the 3D art field?
Rakshasan: This is the platform to bring to life all those thoughts, ideas and fantasies that have been rattling away in your head :-)

Renderotica: Do you have any long term goals in relationship to your art?
Rakshasan: I'm addicted, so, naturally I'm enjoying it. As long as that is there, I'll keep creating.

Renderotica: Are there any projects, now or in the future, that you would like us to be aware of?
Rakshasan: Nothing pre-planned. It is all in the spur of the moment - so stay tuned :-)
