1) what brought you into 3D?
All I wanted was a simple figure to spice up a presentation. Found out about DS in the process, installed it and stuck with it – as simple as that.
2) How did you choose your nickname?
My “regular” one was already in use so I chose the Japanese version of the word circle – a tribute to my thinking process.
3) How long have you been creating your artwork?
I drew little caricatures since I was 12 and got nowhere with it. 3D is a fairly new love, I think it’s now about 4 years that I got involved.
4) Where do you draw your inspirations from?
Movies, books, life and the friendly voices in my head…
6) Poser or Daz Studio and why?
DAZ: I own a Poser9 but every time I start it, it confuses me more. It’s definitely difficult to teach on old dog a new trick.
7) What renderer do you use? (Stock Poser or Daz or 3rd party) And what lead you to use it?
3Delight is what I use most, however I try to get to terms with Iray and now that there are some tutorials there is literally light at the end of the tunnel. Occasionally I use Reality, but, again: old-dog syndrome…
8) what is your favorite work you’ve created?

10) I’;m always facinated by water in renders, tell us about creating “Hunting”
Basically it was facing an old enemy of mine: never got water or any other liquids to look right. With Iray and some advice from fellow artists I got it to about what it looks now. Probably one of the longest try-and-error sessions I ever had. As with most of my posted renders they start out as something completely different; there is no master plan, but somehow evolve.
11) Do you have a favorite “theme” when you create renders?
I do like Fantasy renders, and yes, I tend to prefer shapely ladies, too.
12) Out of all the various art mediums why 3D?
It’s a lot of fun and I can do it in my lunch break, if I ever had one.
13) What are your plans for the future?
I have been asked for sequels to some of my renders and therefore I should define some preset characters so that I can re-use them. The longest “story” I attempted so far had two pictures and an unfinished third one. This is to be beaten.
14) who are your favorite artists other than yourself?:
I very much like Elianek and Mavrosh for their genre work, Kristin F and Erogenesis and a whole lot of others.
15) If someone reading this wants to start creating their own artwork what words of advice would you give them?
First of all: get started! Then: try, fail, try again. Rumour has it that if you do something for more than seven years you can not prevent yourself becoming an expert.
16) Do you have a job outside of 3D or do you consider this your full time occupation?
I’d love to do 3D full time, but I also like my “real” job – and that one keeps me fed.
17) Speech time! any final words you have for your, fans and fellow 3D community?
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, making me laugh and inspiring me. I hope I can return this favour one day.
