1) what brought you into 3D?
To be honest, it was really more of just screwing around than anything else. I had the very first version of poser a long time ago (I got it free as a demo disk with some other program) and went exploring to see how it had advanced. I started playing with it and was really shocked at how advanced it had become. The rest is history, as they say….
2) How did you choose your nickname?
I had a previous nickname that I used to sell products under, but was forced to shut that all down for personal reasons. Needed to come up with a new name. I’m not the most creative when it comes to stuff like that so, 3D cause that’s what I work in and Erotic, cause that’s what most of my subject matter is about! Lol!
3) How long have you been creating your artwork?
I have been drawing and painting since I was very little. I am professionally trained as an artist/illustrator. Unfortunately there’s not much work out there any more for a freelance illustrator, so I’ve since gone into a different career. I still do a lot of freelance illustration and graphic design work, and I really enjoy expressing my erotic creativity with my 3D work. I’ve been working with 3D rendering for about 5 years.
4) Where do you draw your inspirations from?
Pretty much everything I see! Lol!
5) what are the specs of your render machine?
I do most of my work on a Dell Laptop, running an Intel Core i7-4510U @ 2.00 GHz, with 8 gigs of RAM. My other career causes me to spend extended periods of time away from home and it was just easier to have a portable machine so I can work anywhere….and for a laptop it renders pretty damned quick! Lol!
6) Poser or Daz Studio and why?
Poser….because….poser! I have never really explored Daz and I’m happy with what I can do with Poser.
7) What renderer do you use? (Stock Poser or Daz or 3rd party) And what lead you to use it?
I use the stock poser renderer. But I have explored a little with other 3rd party render engines. I’ve seen some pretty amazing stuff out there and I’d like to play with some more of it….
8) what is your favorite work you’ve created? (provide a link OR include an image named “fav”)

9) Is there any image you’ve made that you wish you didn’t? why?
Nope, can’t say that there is….
10) 50 Shades… Helpful to the genre, Hurtful, or something else?
Honestly, haven’t read the book or seen the movie. I know there’s bondage in it, so it can’t be all bad. Let’s be honest, everyone’s got a little freak in them that’s just dying to come out!! Even if they deny it!
11) Out of all the various art mediums why 3D?
I just like the way you can create an entire “space”. Being able to set up a scene and then render it from different angles and play with the light is really wonderful! Having the training and opportunity to work with just about everything over the years has given me an appreciation for all the great things that are out there. I originally worked “old school”, using mostly acrylics and colored pencil, but I never really stuck to one media, preferring to use whatever I needed to achieve the style I was going for. Since then I have moved to complete digital and do most of my illustration work in painter 10. The computer has been a huge change, but has really opened a lot of doors for what I can achieve. Plus I don’t have to clean up and never run out of paint!!
12) What are your plans for the future?
Continue to breath and just have fun!!
13) who are your favorite artists other than yourself?
Hmmmm. I love all the old illustrators that used to do the stuff I wanted to do. I’ve always been a big fan of Hajime Sorayama. I love his hyper realism. Alberto Vargas, Olivia De Berardinis, Drew Posada, Gil Elvgren…There’s so many!
14) If someone reading this wants to start creating their own artwork what words of advice would you give them?
Be patient. It takes a while to figure all this 3D stuff out. You need to have a little computer programmer in you to really understand it all. (I’m def not saying I know it all! Lol! I learn something new every day!)
15) Do you have a job outside of 3D or do you consider this your full time occupation?
I have a full time career. If I told you about it, I’d have to kill you…. And I do a lot of freelance graphics and illustration. 3D is really just a hobby for me.
16) Speech time! any final words you have for your, fans and fellow 3D community?
I’m not real big on speeches! Just like to thank everyone who follows my work. I’m glad there’s other like minded people out there! Render ON!!!
