Q) what brought you into 3D?
(A girlfriend introduced me to digital painting in the late 90’s and then I got into Poser from there. Davo and Dendras were probably responsible for my first, really naughty stuff. I mainly did Troll and lesbian scenes and found it enormous fun! For the last couple of years I have been drawing on my 90’s ‘Party Girl’ lifestyle to create comics and have found it wonderful fun.)
Q) How did you choose your nickname?
(Kristin Lafromboise and Selena Farrell are two characters in a book I have been working on for nearly 20 years. A book that I am hopefully going to turn into a graphic novel when I feel I can do it justice. I want to use drawn/painted images rather than 3D if possible.)
Q) How long have you been creating your artwork?
(In 3D around 15 years now, but I was drawing erotic art whilst I was at school! In fact I remember a long and in depth discussion about whether an erect penis should jut upwards or downwards after a critique from a classmate who disagreed with me about male anatomy. As it turned out she was clearly more worldly wise than me at the time because she was right, they mostly jut upwards!)

Q) what are the specs of your render machine?
(I now use 3 computers as one died. All of which are getting old but I really cannot afford to upgrade them these days. Two are 6 core/12 threaded 3.6 ghz with 64gb ram each and the other is a 4 core/8thread 3.8 ghz with 24gb ram. I also have a micro server and have huge amounts of storage (around 30+ tb in total) as I save all my scene files from poser/das studio and Vue as well as all my .psd's)
Q)Poser or Daz Studio and why?
(I actually do not render with either of them, I use Vue Infinite however I do all my posing in them and this year I switched to Das Studio after 15 years with Poser. It was a wrench and there are things I miss (morph brush to name one) but now I could not be happier. I switched mainly because of Genesis 3. Poser is an amazing piece of software but I missed being able to use Genesis figures and export them properly to Vue. I actually)
Q) What renderer do you use? (Stock Poser or Daz or 3rd party) And what lead you to use it?
(Oops, I waffled and answered that above... I use Vue Infinite.)
Q) Do you find it harder or easier creating erotic art as a female?
(Oh no, I find it really easy actually. I did lead a ... ummm... colourful and eventful life in my earlier days and it has provided me with a lot of inspiration. There are some aspects of erotic art I struggle with but mostly it's all fun. I am very sexual and always have been so now I can live vicariously through my clone. )
Q) what is your favorite work you’ve created? (provide a link OR include an image named “fav”)
.jpg.aspx)
Probably this is my current favourite because it transports me back in time when I see it)
Q) Is there any image you’ve made that you wish you didn’t? why?
(Oh there have been a few, but they are rarely my choice. If I do anything that is non-consensual I tend to put a little caveat within the scene and you are left thinking 'hmmm, is that what I think it is or not. I am not so keen on brutal, hopeless violence that has no story.)
Q) Your Party Girl renders and comics, how much exaggeration is in them ;)
(Oh there is some 'embellishment' in the comics (not all penises I 'met' were 8 inches long!) but the basic stories are mostly true, especially in my blogs, they are spot on. I could still add more one day as I am a member of KillingKittens ;) )
Q) What is your favorite ‘style’ of art to create?
(I really like to make 3D fantasy art, Peril (non-bloody) but I also enjoy good old fashioned erotic art as well. The gentler, more vanilla type of thing, gratuitous fucking. )
Q) what was it like to be a "guest star" in a Lali comic? and will we be seeing you in further issues?

(Haha well, it's a lot of fun, especially seeing myself as a Professor! As for being in further issues, I have no idea, it all depends of Ero. I do hope so though. He and I are great friends and I do really respect his amazing art skills)
Q) who has a more exciting life your real self or your 3D self?
(Oh now days my virtual clone, by a country mile! I live through her now, but let me tell you, my early twenties were a blast ;) )
Q) Age aside, you're pretty much the Artist's 'Den Mother' what's it like for you?
(I had never really considered myself as such but thinking about it now I really like it actually, it's an honour. I think I am very nurturing by nature and love to help and be supportive when I can. I am fiercely protective of my cubs... I mean friends :) )
Q)) Out of all the various art mediums why 3D?
(Honestly, because I think it is easier. I can draw in 2D but I am never as happy with the results.)
Q) What are your plans for the future?
(I really want to put all my energy into comics. I have so many stories I want to tell, both real like my Party Girl stuff and fictional like Bredren, woods are dark and Midnight to Dawn)

Q) As you might have seen in many other spotlight interviews, you are named as an inspiration or favorite artist by many in the community, how does that make you feel?
(Honestly, incredibly humble and grateful. I may have stood out more 10+ years ago when I started using Vue and others were using Poser 4 but now days there are some absolutely incredible artists around who create works of art that are jaw dropping so to still be considered an inspiration is just wonderful and I must confess does make me feel emotional whenever I read it.)
Q) who are your favorite artists other than yourself?
(Oh wow, tricky one. In erotic 3D there are a lot, to name just a few I would say Erogenesis, the effort he puts in and the things he produces with Poser are just out of this world. StudioAD, well, what can I say, the guy is a genius. Geramdrir, I love the vibrancy and happiness in his scenes, oh I can't go on, this will stretch to a couple of thousand words! Sorry anyone I missed out, there are a LOT of you.)
In other forms of art I adore Tim White, Dorian Cleavenger, Marta Darlig, and almost everyone who graces the pages of ImagineFX.
Q) If someone reading this wants to start creating their own artwork what words of advice would you give them?
(Well the first thing I would say is get Poser or Daz Studio and have a play. Be sure though because this can develop into a scarily expensive hobby)
Q) Do you have a job outside of 3D or do you consider this your full time occupation?
(This is now full time. In London I was a full time, doubly qualified general and mental health nurse but now I live very rurally and had to do 100 mile round trips to do nursing agency shifts. Driving down winding, unlit country roads on moors in all weathers was tricky and I just enjoy doing commissions and comics now)
Q) Speech time! any final words you have for your, fans and fellow 3D community?
(Well a little more about what created me... As soon as I left home to start nurse training my life changed dramatically. I moved out of home and into a nursing home for a while then afterwards shared an apartment with Kate and occasionally others would move in with us.
We worked and played hard. We had long heard of the naughty goings on at a local large, well known club with legendary after parties and we wanted to be invited but had always been overlooked. We decided to really go for it and I ended up sewing sequins to a pair of the shortest shorts you have ever seen and a cut down halter top. Doorman we had walked past a dozen times now took notice of us and on the way into the club that first night in the purple shorts a bouncer asked my friend Kate and I if we wanted to come to the after party! Well, let's just say that was the start of exciting times.
From there I ended up going to some amazing parties, got involved with various local swinger groups and became a part of a truly wild sex scene. At home and abroad, VIP lounges, minor celebs, sportsmen (and women ;) ) actors and more than my fair share of people from the music industry, I partied with them all. I would never name names, I wasn't a groupie just a girl who was invited to all the right places. I never cared if a guy was in the spotlight, it was just all a giggle to me.
I draw on those experiences and my blogs are all real experiences and my comics although based on fact can be embellished with a couple of stories added in that didn't happen (but I expect they would have happened if I had known the 'fans' involved back then).
Anyway. enjoy your art, do more art... oh and enjoy your sex, and do oodles and oodles more sex! :D
