Because I sporadically enjoy watching wrestling I figured I'd go look for a ring prop. First I looked around "other places" which wasn't a great success. Then I took to Renderotica and eventually found the Boxing Ring (<= link), made by our very own Vunter Slaush (<= link to his product overview).
And seriously, this thing is pretty solid!
What's included?
First, obviously, the boxing ring itself. The base is a sturdy platform which is surrounded by four ropes which go around the ring (duh) and it consists of 4 segments. A fun detail here is that all 4 segments also come with 6 morphs which allow you to bend the ropes; ideal for when someone is leaning into those.
Next the ring comes with a lighting preset which surrounds the ring with spotlights. Then we get three material presets to change the colors of the ring and the ropes; not to mention changing the logo in the ring.
And finally... 9 fighting poses. However, these were made for Genesis 8 male, no females allowed it seems. Fortunately this isn't a very big problem as you can also see in the promo image: Sukai has no problem with taking on her stance :) Poses show an offensive stance, defense and even a possible knockout.
How does it work?
Simple really... unzip the archive in one of your Daz Studio libraries, then you'll find the boxing ring and its support assets listed in the Props => BoxingRing folder. Just add the ring, optionally apply a material preset and you're all good to go. Keep in mind though that what you see is what you get: its the ring only. So if you want to create your own fight club you'll probably also going to need a room prop of some sort.
All in all this is an excellent product.
And as for that non-erotics comment... you can always consider to get your boxers to fight naked ;)
