I started working on 3D imaging in 2016 on Poser. I created several cartoons in Poser back in 2016 - 2017. In 2018 I switched to Daz3D and purchased the Mika model and started the Tiki Series. The earlier pics from 2016 - 2018 will probably eventually become posts. The current series I am posting now "Gnome Captured by Goblin Riders" was begun in September of 2018 and finished in Feburary of 2019.
Because my GPU at the time was much older and only 4GB I had to shoot the series as a series of Backgrounds and then a series of Model interactions. I used Photoshop to the layer the Model Interactions over the Backgrounds and save those out to JPEGs which is why the models may appear to 'Float' slightly above the floor ocassionally.
I found early on that when I automate the rendering as an animated set some camera angles don't work out like you had hoped, so my solution was to shoot multiple camera angles which meant at least one of any given picture would work.
I also found the models looked great with close ups so I started adding close up camera's on the model.
In this series I shot Front, Left, and Top view 'Main' cameras and Front, Left, Right, and Top view 'Portrait' cameras. And finally, Front, Left, and Right 'Face Cameras'. I could not do a Right 'Main' Camera due to limitations of the set.
I hope you enjoy the series.
