Metal body bands for the arms and legs plus a new restraint frame system! Keep them locked down!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIAL NOTE 1: Posing for Genesis 8 / 9 figures is based on the STANDARD, NON-MORPHED OR ALTERED figures. If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. If you do have to alter the poses, you can do this to one side of the device and one side of your character then use the symmetry command to mirror the result to the other side.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SPECIAL NOTE 2: Iray is the render engine of choice. This package only includes materials that will look good in Iray. You have been warned.

Figure Library Descriptions:

Device 12: This is an articulated frame with upper armatures for the arms and lower armatures for the legs. These are connected to a central  armature connector. There is a non rendering 'base' sphere that is the base body part that all other parts are connected to. You can use this base to move the entire device around. The CONN body part is the central connector that the TCONN and BCONN are connected to. The TCONN and BCONN are the bases for the top and bottom armatures. The rods on the arms have a left and right connector that are poseable so they can follow the angle of the body bands (the basic body  bands for the arms and legs, available in the Cuffs Basic Bands library) they intersect with. You can use the supplied poses in the pose library or you can create your own poses. The central conn arms have length morph. The central Conn has connbar that can be inserted into the Device holder sleeve if you use the Device holder figure, there is also a built-hook that can be used instead of the connbar if you wish to suspend your character from a chain.

Poses for G8F and G9F are provided in the pose subfolder, please click on the READ FIRST icon for notes on body bands, parenting and posing.

Device 12 Single: This is a stand alone armature that is the same as the Device 12 figure, however it's comprised of only the TCONN armatures, not the entire central and lower armatures. This allows you to too easy just use the device to restrain the arms (or legs only) if you wish.
Useability is similar to the description above.
Poses for G8F and G9F are provided in the pose subfolder, please click on the READ FIRST icon for notes on cuffs, parenting and posing.

Combo Full and Combo Single: These are combinations of the Device 12 or Device 12 Single figures and the Device Holder. There are pose options in the pose library for these items.

Device Holder: This is a simple post with connector bracket at the top that fits the connbar of the Device 12 figures. There are size and shape morphs for adjustments. Poses are available in the pose libraries.

READ FIRST icons: There is an _readme Read First icon in the library, click on this to read further tips about the items in the library folder.

-----------------
PART VISIBILITY FOLDER
-----------------
This folder is provided to hide and unhide parts of the device 12 figures. Select the figure in your scene and apply the options that suit you. These options are mainly to chose between using the connector bar that fits into the device holder or hiding the connector bar and showing the hook option instead.

Cuffs Libraries:

Cuffs Basic Bands:

These body bands are a wearable preset (conforming figure in poser) that you apply to your character like clothing. The bands are on the upper arms, wrists, thighs and legs. These will deform with your characters body shapes to a certain degree. Select your character in the scene then apply the body bands. There is a folder for visibility options that will show or hide sets of the bands on the arms and legs. Be sure you select the body bands and not your G8F figure when using the visibility options.

Crosstie folders: These folders have some smart prop crossties for the arms and legs. The arms and legs options will partially pose only the arms or legs. The difference between option A and B is that the A option has the cross ties slightly on the outside of cuffs for better visibility. The B options has them more centrally between the cuffs.  The crosstie prop has size and shape morphs for custom looks.

Pose Folders

SPECIAL NOTE FOR POSING: Posing for Genesis 8/9 figures is based on the STANDARD, NON-MORPHED OR ALTERED figures. If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. If you do have to alter the poses, you can do this to one side of the device and one side of your character then use the symmetry command to mirror the result to the other side.

PLEASE NOTE: There is an information READ FIRST icon in the folder that has some general info about using the poses and pre-parenting requirements. There is also a link to a tutorial in this folder that has GENERIC step by step instructions on how to parent your character and apply poses to both the device and your character..
Please view the tutorial if you are novice or not familiar with progressional poses.

Note: You must use the CUFFS BASIC BANDS from the props library to use in conjunction with the poses. Poses will not be affected by not having the cuffs, it'll just look silly when you render and nothing is attaching your character to the device. DUH!

For the Device 12 combo poses, it's best to pose the holder first, device second, then the character pose third. Please read the READ FIRST icon! Good info in there.
