Description
Do you want to get your Isolation deprivation on, well this is the product for you.
An isolation tank is a light-less, soundproof tank inside which subjects float in skin temperature salt water, and were first used by John C. Lilly in 1954 to test the effects of sensory deprivation.
Such tanks are now used for meditation, relaxation and in alternative medicine for many physical or emotional dysfunctions. Originally called the sensory deprivation tank, other names include flotation tank, float tank, the magical bus , John C. Lilly tank, REST tank, and sensory attenuation tank.
The subject can now float with the face above the water, although the ears are still submerged when the subject is in a relaxed position, which greatly reduces hearing.
When the arms float to the side, skin sensation is greatly reduced because the air and water are the same temperature as the skin, and the feeling of a body boundary fades.
The sense of smell is also greatly reduced especially if the water has not been treated with chlorine, but this tank is a nutrient bath water that is a more clean feel on the skin.
In the late sixties many transcendental meditation hippy gurus would enjoy a nice magic mushroom tea and travel the zones of the subconscious within the submerged stillness of the tank.
Included within this product is the main figure prop Isolation Tank with working hatch morph to open and close, Both side walls that can be made invisible by Checking the visible off in the parameters properties menu tab of the Iso Tank.
To move the Tank just select body and move entire tank with the parameters menu translation dials X-Y-Z to anyplace in your scene.
Two main flotation poses are included but feel free to experiment with your own poses the tank can fit two standard figures within, sounds like fun.
