I'm trying to do something with dforce but i'm not having any luck?

What seems to be the problem with dForce? Is it not working on the net? Going through the fish? Not staying in his hand?

Sounds like an ideal job for dForce but it depends on the nature of the net model.

A fully modelled net could be a challenge for dForce unless you have geometries, settings, weight maps and so on just right.

A flat mesh model with a transparency mapped texture on the other hand should be quite simple.

Ensure there is enough geometry in the mesh.
Attach (intersect) a 'helper' (a sphere) on each corner.
Pose the figure above the mesh.
Use an animated simulation - add enough time to pull rather than just yank the net - and move the 'helpers' to pull the net around the character.
Hide the helpers.
Add fish.
Render.
I'm just here by mistake, for a friend, for science... anyway you can't prove nuffin'.
