Hello,

This thread is being created as a split off the general thread to discuss and share techniques for making more realistic and convincing female genitals.

It isn't about "photo realism" that is too broad of a topic and I would like to see a focused group on just gen improvements.

No genital type is excluded, we can discuss the base g3/g8, new gens, golden palace or whatever you have the most success in. Please share images.

I really do not do a whole bunch of close up insertion shots  I do have Lali bits and use it when i need to get some "as realistic"  look as possible.  but otherwise I use the gen package that came with the Amber mesh for V4

I believe to get the optimum look for a top notch genital look would require someone to really work to make sure the bones needed for the mesh ar inputted into the base figure.  I look at some of the product ad's that are run here and they do look pretty good but then I see forum post of problems with this genital item or the next and of course those are for the DAZ base mesh.

I do believe that somewhere down the road someone will create the ultimate gen input using the ultimate amount of bone structure that will work easily with the base figure..  but since it will be for the DAZ base figure ZI will not be able to use it.

I'll start with a basic blender edit technique on New Genitalia by 3feetwolf.

This same technique should also apply to the base G3/G8F gens and Golden Palace.

1. Load your G8/8.1 Female and add New Gens to it.

2. Tweak with morphs the gen however you want. Keep in mind whatever you do here will be fused into a single morph by the end. Or set all params to 0.

3. Hide everything on G8 model except for the attached in Scene tab.

4. Select the New Genitalia for Victoria 8 in the Scene tab.

5. Set Resolution in parameters to Base! From my understanding only PA's have access to HD imports.

6. Export as Obj and your options should be similar to that as shown in image 2.

(img2)

7. Open up Blender, delete everything in teh initial scene and Import Obj

8. Check that Keep Vert Order and Poly Groups is selected.

(img3)

9. Click on the vag object in scene and switch to sculpt or edit mode (I'll show sculpt mode here.)

10. Use the tools to modify the mesh, be careful not to change the outer edge geometry in any way.

(img4)

11. Export your modified mesh from Blender as an Obj.

12. Make sure to check Selected Only and Keep Vert Order.

(img5)

13. Switch back to Daz and click on Edit, Object, Morph Loader Pro.

14. Click choose morph file and select your Blender exported obj and accept.

(img6)

15. If you did it all correctly it will say Created morph successfully.

16. In parameters restore resolution to High Resolution and find your new morph named whatever the Blender exported Obj was called.

17. Slide it up.

18. You may need to ZERO out all the other parameters to get it look as you edit it in Blender.

(img7)

19. Unhide the character and layers in scene view.

No problem! This is still not quite "realism"  though, not without HD support. I think (but haven't tried) one could alter the original geograph mesh, as the geograph itself can be HD, you just can't use Morph Load Pro to import HD. Something to look into.

The other thing that I find a bit frustrating is the narrow area of the graph to work with as shown in green on the last image. I would like to expand it over to include the leg crease and farther up on the mons. That would me adding to the geograph and the poly surfaces it attaches to.
