Here's some teasers from the updated promo art for Core/Soaking Wet 1.2 :)
Internal testing found a few bugs and those are being squashed right now. Meipe is also updating all the displacement copy scripts to make sure those all work. If no other issues are found we'll be submitting all 6 updates in next Friday, and the updates will be released as soon as 'rotica can get them site tested (please be patient :) )
More teasers coming tomorrow :D
Be sure to click pics for best image quality ;)

I like the look of this. The one problem that I always have with the UMS is getting the lighting to work without changing the way I want the scene lit, if that makes any sense. The sweat and soaking wet effects in particular demand uniform high intensity light to really work well. These promos look as though that problem is about to get a lot easier to solve. Great work!

Thanks! And yes, making the system easier to use was a big motivator in updating the products. The best advice when using it is, trust the new optimized shader. It's going to look how it should look based on your lighting setup. So if it's not "sparkly" enough, add a sharp light behind the camera. If you want it softer, use wider, softer lighting.
The old system tried to "cheat" iRay, it tried to look super shiny in every lighting I could think of. That made it look a lot less natural, and sometimes it looked like the figure was wearing prickly glass or plastic.
I wanted to get the system back to looking natural, and most importantly I wanted it to look natural on the first application, without the massive and confusing toolkit tools to "force" it to look good. Now all you have to do is choose the pattern, maybe tweak your lighting a little if you want to, and hit render. The wetness should be complimenting and enhancing the beauty of your character, not the other way around :)

Some more teasers!
These first 3 are from Female Sweat Add-On
And 2 from Male Core/Soaking Wet pack :)
Keep in mind sweat is intended to be subtle, however the Core kit has Opacity and "salt" tools to strengthen and/or brighten the appearance of sweat drops if needed :)

That's some enhanced compatibility! Are the Daz3D anatomical elements supported by default?

In the old 1.0 version we included some tools to make Daz Male Gen work, but due to the shape of the UV map it really looks bad and stretched, and would require a special UV re-mapping to make it look right. In 1.2 I'm leaving the G8MGen maps in the folder "D:\My Library\Runtime\Textures\Thunder-3D\USM 1.2\Graft Blends" for customizers, but DAZ male gen won't be "officially" supported.
For DAZ female gen, it's a pretty easy fix. If you have the free "Cayman Torso" UV, you can simply right click copy/paste the torso material to the DAZ gen material in studio through the surfaces tab. Details on that including download address will be kept in 1.2 for people that want to use DAZ female gen with the update. :)
At this time, "Roasty" for the older Futalicious isn't in the kit. We had to choose between the newer Full Monty OR the older Roasty, and Full Monty won. There's no easy workaround for this, so Roasty will have to be a future update.
Futalicious 3.2 with Full Monty works great however, and imo the Full Monty vagina looks a lot nicer anyways :) Edited by user Monday, April 5, 2021 5:22:46 PM(UTC)

Once the update is live, you will automatically have it available in your downloads if you have purchased V1 :)

All product installers are done. As soon as final internal testing is done we'll start submitting the updates to 'rotica by Friday :)
In the meantime, here's some Baby Oil teasers :D

OK, these look great. The HDRI and Emissive Lighting examples are particularly impressive. I wish I'd had this version when I did my last few projects.
Great work!

This is final testing by the site. As long as they don't find any issues, Core Female and Male should be up "soon", followed by Baby Oil and then Sweat.
It's my hope they can get all 6 tested and up by the end of the week, but I don't want to rush them, keep in mind this is like testing a whole new product, everything was updated :)
