I don't think I have that low end of a PC but I  am still having trouble with rendering, to a point if I have more than 3 characters to render my PC completely locks up.


Turns out that rendering for me takes up the full recourses of my RAM and CPU and not my graphics card at all...


I have Intel Core i7-9700F 3.0Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, 16GB DDR4.


I have read countless threads about rendering and seems my graphics card is not good for Iray rendering, was wondering if anyone would have the same issues with this card and if they found a fix to get this card to work instead of using the CPU and RAM.

You need to lower the size of the textures in the scene.


 


One way to do it is to go through each surface in the surface tab and re-size from 4k to 2k.
