Issues with G8 GP's material copy.

Hi !
Maybe that problem has been solved already but I prefer asking after two hours trying to find out.
I never had any problem with GP, excellent stuff, easy to use, etc. Until now : The material copy won't work anymore. Everything is good, the model is selected, nothing could go wrong and BAM, the GP stays gray, it's sad. I tried to uninstall it and install it again. Same results. Any recommandations ?

Think you should try manual material copy.
go to the character's surface tab and select torso and then right-click and select copy material.
then go to GP surface tab and paste it
