I've finally figured out what has been causing Daz Studio to figuratively crash every time I try putting Fit Control on my G8M characters - Dicktator.

For some reason, while Dicktator is attached to G8M, even at the very default morph and pose, adding Fit Control to ANY clothing will cause Daz Studio to either heavily lag or lag so much that it might as well have crashed.

I figured it out after loading G8M > Dicktator (without the shell even) > Simple pants > Fit Control for said Pants

And it lagged like crazy. Deleting Dicktator model from the scene instantly fixed the issue.

So far the only solution I've found is to detach Dicktator before adding Fit Control to clothing, but That messes up the shell and I have to reload a new shell and tweak it back up.

I would suggest saving your shell as a wearable preset, personally I do this on all my characters because shells are very fragile and it doesn't take much to mess one up. With the shell saved as a preset, you can just drop on a backup if a texture gets deleted. :)

To quote a famous Youtuber - Hey, that's pretty good.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but even with my dozen or so years of on-off experience (mostly off) with Daz Studio, I tend to learn new stuff ever so often.

Thanks, you made my Daz life so much easier.
