Having an issue with Golden Palace in Iray thes shader shows as black. Nothing loaded other than G8F and GP. Nvidia drivers are up to date and using Daz3D 4.12. Been searching for a while, and can't find anything. Closest I've found was a similar issues in Octane.any help would be great.

Sorry for the late reply. Happens in either Photoreal or Interactive. I have even tried rolling back nvidia drivers.

Hmm. You have this issue with any surface with a transparency map loaded in the Cutout Opacity node?

That looks like the same problem I had. I never did figure it out. Turning off the geoshell fixed the issue, but then I don't get all the geoshell features. I just figured it was an Iray problem. Zaavaleta attached the following image(s):

Honestly Not sure. I'm just setting things up to test a workflow, and came across this immediately. Currently don't have anything else that has A cutout Opacity node. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall everything at some point just to se what happens. It's not like I have an epic library of things to worry about.
Also if you give me basic requirements I can export something from Blender and see if I can recreate the problem. Edited by user Sunday, December 29, 2019 4:14:45 AM(UTC)

This looks like something that happens with my models that have a black translucency applied to them. I have to go to the geograft, set the translucency to 0 and then undo. That fixes it for me. Might this be the same issue you are having? If not, apologies and hope you can fix the issue otherwise.

I have to admit I did change the translucency settings on mine. For some reason the stock settings just don't look good to me. So in my case the issue might be my fault. Whenever I get time I'll reset it to the original settings and see how that looks.
