Hi 3feetwolf!

So I recently bought the Legacy UV adapters for G2 to G3 which works nicely. My only issue is that obviously I can't use your NG for G3 on them because G2 UVs are not supported. Is there any way this is something you could add or is that impossible?

Because all the vertices of the gens prop were moved, this was the effect of the displacement map.
The following are my personal views. Please correct me if I am wrong.
There are two displacement parameters in Iray Uber Shader, Minimum Displacement and Maximum Displacement.
If the value of these two parameters are not equal, then you will see the same problem in the render result.
So I guess Octane renderer has similar parameters too.
Adjust these parameters can eliminate the incorrect vertex displacement.

I will try the solution you have explained during the day, probably gonna take a while since am gonna bet the Displacement maps are gonna be named something competly different in Octane, which if it does... kinda sucks, but anyhow, i will let you know if the solution you suggested works!

I wouldn't get too excited. Since Tween Julie is an underage character, I doubt she'll get an NGV7 update.


Teen Josie 7 was not supported, so this younger character won't be.

Officially, no, but 3feetwolf did create an update for her, which he very generously shared with me. All of the latest updates do however contain the Teen Josie 7 code, so it's simply a matter of creating a UV set for the Gens.

Hello, Im using New Genitalia For Victoria 7, however I cannot seem to export it correctly to fbx. When I export it I dont see the Genitalia as an object to be exported, I only see the genesis 3 figure.

I need to export it to be used in Unity and Im trying to export the morphs as blendshapes with it.

I hope you can help me with this, thank you.

Bought Star 2.0 for G3F and the your NG for V7 fits except that the UV isn't supported. Will you be doing an upgrade for Star 2.0 or am I just wishing on Star Dust? (Please, please, please, say yes)nervous peek omg

Hi, this is the update for G2F UV.

Usage:
1. Load G3F, run '_Prepare G3F'.
2. Apply the mat of a G2F character.
3. Run 'Apply G2F UVs'.
4. Select G3F only, run the script of NGV7, done.

In fact, there does not need new UV for all types of characters, you simply take the current texture and apply the genital parts to it, cheers, new texture is ready.

This is works for most characters, for seams you need painting software that can paint directly on 3d models and have projection painting for painting over UV seams, then you have to use Clone Stamp tool like in Photoshop to eliminate any seams.

Or you can use GIMP for both cases, and also extend texture borders to eliminate texture seams.

Hi 3feetwolf,

I can't seem to get this to work but the issue is likely on my end because I'm kind of a moron about all this (new to 3D software in general, self teaching). I loaded the G3F, ran 'Prepare the G3F', applied the G2F mat... everything going well thus far. Now I try to run the 'Apply V6 UVs' but that does nothing. There's no acknowledgement at all that my clicking that does anything. Still, I push on and select just the G3F, run the the script of NGV7 but a message pops up saying that V6 is not supported and to select a supported UV map. Happens with every G2F mat I have. I ran the update script, it says its updated and I try again but still get the same message. I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing but I couldn't begin to know what. Sorry if that's not much to go off of. If you have questions I will answer them to the best of my ability. I can likely provided pics if necessary.
