I see, thanks :) One thing to know though: some fella told me that unlike Gia 7, Gianni 7 will requiure 4.9 to work properly or else (I quote) "he woill look too red. It's got to do with the changes made in the iRay rendering in 4.9." I thought I'd let you guys know :) Out of the box, maybe , but there's nothing hardcoded that will require 4.9 (except DRM, maybe). The only material tweaks are Translucency Color (a more orangey color) and SSS Reflectance Tint (from light blue in D|S4.8 to light yellow in 4.9). Read this thread - example colours to tweak are in post 22.

I'm having this issue with the NGV7 product. I use LIE Baker to save the materials so that I can save them with the DAZ Studio scene file (temp files disappear). I do the same with the NGV6 version 2 product with no problems. However, I'm now seeing that, when I use Reality to render, the G3F Torso surfaces get overwritten by the NGV7 Torso texture. marble51 attached the following image(s):

OK - it looks like the problem is caused by making changes to the character materials. If so, it is best to re-apply the NGV7 materials created by Lie Baker.

G'day all, First up can I say, fantastic work 3feetwolf on this project <Insert Applause Here> I've just got a small problem I wouldn't mind a bit of guidance on. Materials wise inside Daz3d & rendered everything looks perfect. My goal is to export the final model in FBX to Iclone / 3dmax and ultimately into Unreal Engine. Every single attempt I make Victora 7 , Eva 7 base female I get this materials issue post exporting (see pic) . The material isn't quite matched perfectly. I must be doing something wrong, any ideas ??? FBX export issue

Another customer was unable to use the morphs of new gens after he exported it to iClone, I would like to know if you have the same problem or not. As for the material, because I don't have iClone so I am sorry that I couldn't answer the question... May I ask if it is possible to set up materials in iClone? If it is, I would recommend removing all the textures except diffuse map from you character and new gens, and checking their material parameters to make sure that the new gens and the character' skin have the same settings. If the problem disappears, then we can know that this problem is caused by some textures or material parameters and we can discuss further.

Hey 3feetwolf, I'm thinking of buying this again (I had the V6 version for Genesis 2 which was great) but wondering if you're planning to add compatibility for the new Isabella 7 fairy figure that Daz released today? Most of the art I do is fairy-based, so that would be a must have for me. Thanks. Edit: Nevermind - I just realised that she uses only the base G3F UVs, so theres no new UV set to worry about lol, sorry :) Edited by user Wednesday, March 23, 2016 4:54:51 AM(UTC)

The image of something crawling about their cheerios made me LOL. I gotta agree with the statement too, kinda weird. Also a decent buy on the pro version with the various offers going on. First pro i've bought for a while, I actually found most of it useful - although I doubt I'll be using the ears. :) I guess 3feetwolf will be glad he doesn't have to do yet another mod.

Yes, I am :)
Now I am creating a low poly count version for NGV7.
It will provide a geometry which has optimized topology, to facilitate users to make the desired morphs by themseleves.

You're not dropping support, are you? What "desired morphs" do you mean?

No, of course I am not dropping support, lol
Although I and other authors created a lot of morphs for NGV7, but I think these morphs could not meet all customer's needs.
Some customers may want to modify the appearance of genitals, or need some particular morphs in their works.
In these cases, if they try to create morphs based on the geometry of NGV7, they might feel that the geometry is too complicated to manipulate.
So I plan to release a free, low poly count version. It will be compatible with the uvs and textures of NGV7, and can be applied to characters in the same way.
But the polygon number of its geometry will be greatly reduced, so that users can easily create all kind of morphs. Edited by user Friday, March 25, 2016 11:25:15 AM(UTC)

Actually, I ran into a problem :(
Due to the vertices number of new geometry is much lower than the old geometry's.
When I tried to unwrap its UV, I found that the new UV could not match the old UV very well.
So if I keep using the original textures of NGV7, the stretch and seams may appear.
Now I'm worried that users will be dissatisfied with this...
I will upload a test version after a few days.
