Het there everyone, Teronsuke here (or that other name you see me post under ;) )
We know a lot of artists and vendors woke up today to some very unexpected news. Whether you had one product affected or hundreds, losing a marketplace you've invested years into is never easy.
I'm not here to criticize RenderHub or speculate on why they made the decision they did. Today isn't about that. Today is simply about letting everyone affected know that if you're looking for another place to create, share, or sell your work, you're welcome here.
For our Artists out there:
ARTIST STUDIO:
Renderotica (as well as our SFW site CGbytes) offers what we call an "Artist Studio" it is your personal hub here, where you can customize, add blogs, images, polls, and even a micro chat type of thing. The Artist Studio was originally envisioned by former owner Andrew ("EhJay") as a miniature creative hub for every member, almost like giving everyone their own little DeviantArt page inside the community." and was built and implemented by Aaron our head programmer that Ehjay personally brought in years ago.
You can checkout your Artist Studio by clicking on ACCOUNT / ARTIST STUDIO (there MAY still be some pretty cool tutorials on how to use everything there floating around, I made a bunch years back, but honestly do not know if they are still active right now, if not I'll try to find my org copies and get them back up ASAP!.
GALLERY
On top of that you have access to the Gallery system where standard members are able to upload 5 images per day, all images can get comments, ratings etc.
You can visit the gallery either by clicking on the GALLERY tab at the top of any page OR to submit your own images to the gallery simply click on ACCOUNT/GALLERY SUBMISSIONS
MEMBER ROLES:
I mentioned "standard members" because we actually have diff types of members here, when you first start uploading to the gallery and or your Artist Studio you're a "Member", after some time, we review all members and if your artwork is good, you follow the site TOS and you upload regularly then we bump you up to a "Premiere Artist" and with that comes a nice new title under your name and the ability to upload more then 5 images per day. After that, more time passes and we review our "Premiere Artists" you could be bumped up to a "Featured Premiere Artist" and this is the stage where you can actually make some money from your uploads!
Featured Premiere Artists submit images to special Premiere Gallery sections and you'll earn points for each unique view your images in those galleries get, you can then either spend those points during checkout OR request payouts once you have enough points.
PROMO GROUP:
Last but not least, one of the community projects I'm most proud of, we run an "in house" Promo Group for our vendors where every 2 weeks (excluding holidays) we offer our promo group members access to 6 products from our catalog, you pick which you want to work with, render and submit at least 1 image and the product is yours to keep for free, your images then go onto the product pages of the products you rendered, as well as our various social media pages. (Access to the promo group is limited and on an invite only basis, if you'd like to be considered for a future invite please free to PM me.
For our Vendors / Content Artists out there:
ARTIST STUDIO:
As explained above, you also have access to your own "Artist studio" where your customers can follow you, read your announcements, see your special promos and more.
PROMOTIONS:
This might be one of my favorite things we offer to ALL vendors, and it's something I personally wish ALL marketplaces would do, but, we offer multiple different ways that we promote your products to our community, and MORE methods will be coming in the future once everything is back up and running fully, here's a little breakdown of what we currently offer to help your products reach the most eyeballs possible:
MAIN CATALOG PAGES:
This is your very first promotion for your new release, and depending on our release queue should give you at least a few days on the main page of the catalog, we try our best to not flood the store with new releases everyday so that everyone can get a chance to be seen on the main store page.
SITE BLOG POSTS:
Mon, Wed and Fri we spotlight a number of recent releases on our "Recent Official Posts" section, these can be seen on both the main page of the sites as well as on the COMMUNITY tab, each blog features your main product promo, text about your product and a link to it's store page.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS:
Throughout the week we post multiple posts across our social media platforms to promote both our artist's renders as well as our Content Artist's products, I will also be creating a community social media project in the future more info about that will be posted in the Vendor forums.
NEWSLETTERS / EMAILS:
Each week, one or more emails get sent out to our userbase that promote newly released products, flashback products, group products and more.
TOP ROCKER BANNERS:
Each week we rotate out a number of banners that appear at the top of our main page, these spots are open to ALL vendors no matter how big or small you are, as long as you submit the proper banners with your product submissions AND follow the TOS for them your product will eventually land in that spot for a week!
PROMO GROUP RENDERS:
As mentioned above, every 2 weeks we take 6 products from our catalog and offer them to our promo group members to create promotional artistic renders of your products, those images get placed on your product pages, our social media pages and our galleries, this is a great tool for those vendors who are stronger at producing products instead of promos, and in some cases, we can even put vendors together with members of our promo group to help craft your main product page promos, if you need help all you need to do is ask us!
There's also more coming in the future once we get our NSFW processing back up and running fully, so all I can say is... stay tuned for more !
PRODUCT TESTING:
Every product submitted goes through two independent testers before release. That means fewer support tickets, happier customers, and fewer surprises after launch.
SET YOU OWN SALES & COUPONS:
We give YOU control of how and when your products go on sale, you can set the discount for all or some of your products, make the sale 5% - 50% off, start, stop, pause etc, it's YOUR products so YOU are in control!
Honestly the list goes on, if you'd like more information on becoming a vendor, or moving a partial or full product catalog over please feel free to PM me.
Last but certainly not least....
Members:
Just like our artists and content artists you too get access to your own Artist Studio, follow your favorite creators, get alerts when they post updates, images or new products, add products you wish to buy later to your wishlist and more! Both of our stores are fully PCI certified meaning your data is safe, and your buying experience is as well. we have multiple forums where you can chat with other members, artists and content artists, and we have a monthly membership you can buy called "Premiere Advantage" that gives you some cool perks and helps support your favorite content creators here.
So, whether you're an artist, vendor, or simply someone looking for a creative community, welcome.
We know today was frustrating for a lot of people. We're glad you're here, and we hope you'll make yourself at home.
There are a lot of exciting things on the horizon, so thank you for your patience while we finish getting everything back into full swing. We can't wait to show you what's next. Edited by user Tuesday, July 7, 2026 10:24:02 PM(UTC)

I posted a link to this thread on Renderhub (about 7–8 hours ago). Since I can't post the link to RH here, here's the thread title: NSFW, This cannot be how things end
@Teronsuke Please take note of Masterstroke's comment; he was treated very unfairly here. Is there perhaps a way to reactivate his account after all? The pictures with his Roxy model are really worth seeing (and, following the RH cleanup, are no longer available in their entirety).

Saw that overnight thanks :)
As for Masterstroke, I would love to have him and Roxy back here 100% I remember his original model very well, I spotlighted many of the images he posted of her over the years I was here, she won 3rd place for one of our "Summer Sizzle" contests, and I'm pretty sure we even featured her in the header spot of one of the newsletters years back.
I was honestly shocked that he had issues with her age and that it lead to his banning :(
I've commented to him this stuff over on RH but he never really replied back, which I can understand.
But if he wants to come back, I'm all for it... I'd just need to have someone show me how to unban someone cause I never did that when I was here prior and I'm still getting my brain around our back end again since I've gotten back lol

Question as a potential vendor here, is the store actually working for sales? I see you posting new stuff, but are people able to buy things.
I'm confused as to what the current status of this store is.
Thanks,
Snarl

I'm sure Teronsuke will give a more detailed answer, but the short of it is that while they're securing a new high-risk credit processor, sales of adult items are offline and not working. Sales for anything SFW work just fine at this time. They've been pretty good about keeping us update on the search/negotiations/etc., transparent about the causes and such, and answering questions here.

Thanks, I've just been confused because I see really ancient stuff and newish stuff on the front page, so it's been hard to tell what's going.

Sorry, we've been busy all day and I'm JUST able to pop in here to reply...
ok... anyone NOT SnarltheWearwolf STOP READING!
As of early afternoon yesterday, ALL 3D products are available for sale, the only thing we are unable to sell right now are Comics and image sets, that is going to require diff High risk processing, we still have one more thing to implement before I make the official WE"RE BACK! announcement on Monday or Tuesday, so that's why I told everyone but you to stop reading lol.
As for your second comment above this, I'm going to have to go check that out, we've been doing a LOT of moving things around, adding overlays, and working on a "ratings" system the past few days so something might have gone wonky display wise, but just to be clear, when you say "the main page" are you talking the actual main page with the huge top banners (that NEEDS to be rotated SOON) or the main page of the store itself that only shows rows of products?

Thanks for hopping in, I've actually had the reply tab open to reply for like the last 3 hours but we all got sidetracked with a new fire to put out, fire's out, all is good so I can finally get to the forums and site mails.

No worries, you're doing a man's work these days on this site. When I say the main page, I meant the main store page where you can add items to your cart, etc. I could also be mistaken, but it looked like there were new items up there today.
Good luck with the updating. When you get to a place of rest and had a breather, you may want to post some guidance on how to get started here as a vendor. Part of why I never looked at vending here was the old admin, and also all the vendors say this system is ancient and times out all the time during uploading.

one thing this place is hands down better on then RH is bundles. You get credit for items you've already bought in the bundle, and they mark you as having all the individual items in the bundle when you buy it. RH never did and it annoyed the s*** out of me. They make clothes for V4? Why??

To become a vendor here simply do this:
1: click on Account on the top right of any page, then on the drop down "Account Settings"
2: bottom left of the navbar on the left side click on "Become A Content Artist"
3: Depending on what you want to sell click the appropriate one CGbytes for any and all 3D Products, Renderotique for Comics and Image Sets (Please note that we are still not able to sell comics and Image sets at this time until we wrap up getting a new processor for that)
Alterntivly you can just click here: https://www.renderotica.com/account/new-content-artist and make your choice
4: fill out the form and click submit and either myself or Tara will reach out with the next steps.
Something to keep in mind... (Again, if you are NOT SnarltheWearwolf stop reading lol)
If you're looking to bring over part or all of your RenderHub catalog, I'm working on a migration system where we can load your back catalog directly into our catalog, those products will NOT go to the main "what's new" page because they are not actually new BUT we're doing a 3-5 "Welcome" promo for Content Artists who migrate in this way with a number of pretty cool things over those 3-5 days that will bring all the eyeballs to that migrated catalog, anything "new" you submit would process through the site normally and go to the main "What's New" page as well as run through our standard promotions.
I'm almost done with the setup and then I just need to run a test to make sure everything flows smoothly (using my own back catalog as the guinea pig) so I've not gotten to publicly announce this new feature yet. so if you want more info just send me a site mail or email: [email protected] and I can explain everything.
Okay, main store page, yes we did just release new products today or yesterday... prob both actually, I thought you had meant that products from years ago were all the sudden showing on the main page lol, I checked and all seems to be as it should.
As for our submission system... I won't lie, put it next to RenderHub, Renderosity, Daz etc and it can be confusing, the way it's setup you need to hit save at each step and some of it can be confusing. we are fully aware, and we will be updating it and making it a lot more user friendly soon(™) We wanted to be working on that already but we had to pivot to get the Processing issues taken care of, now that the bulk of that is done we can begin on the things we originally wanted to get done.
But hey... if you do some migration WE handle the submitting on those ;)
Jokes aside, everything works, it's just a bit dusty, and needs some love and updates to bring it up to a more current standard.

Sounds good. I'll pass on a pro tip, don't tell the idiots at Renderhub that you would like for them to close your store, as in I would like to not have an active storefront and be a regular user account. The f*ckers deleted my entire account. So while I would love to migrate from Renderhub, everything from there is gone including the stuff I bought from Renderhub. Thankfully I have backups of all my products and promos.
Apologize if it sounded like I was busting you or the store's chops, we know you are working hard and have the deck stacked a bit against you. I have to clear up stuff on my end, but will reach out about migrating my content over or just uploading it the old fashion way. But happy to be a guinea pig too.

I LOVE our bundle system, and I'm pretty sure Aaron set that up years ago actually.
One thing that's bugged me as my other name is that whenever a marketplace has bundles their just never setup quite right, Rendo used to have bundles but they did not account for parts you already own, and they did not let you set an actual price if I remember correctly, it would just apply some wonky % off, at one point they just quietly removed them all together and never bother to tell anyone.
RenderHub's system is better then Renderosity's was BUT no accounting for owned parts and LIMITED promos for them, it's just Thumbnail only and then it adds the images from the products included, I always wanted a BIG promo of the bundle itself because I already made it big and then shrunk it for the thumbnail which then looses most of the details lol.
Ours give you full accounting for owned parts, add whatever images, text, etc to your bundles, all parts are clearly shown on the right side of the bundle page it just ticks all the boxes!
Now, you know what I like more here then any other marketplace? our promotions! I know for anyone here the past few months things have been at a standstill on that front, but for anyone who remembers my time here from 2011/2012 - 2023 you know we rocked the promo game for ALL of our vendors, the only thing I wish I could have done more of back then was more newsletters lol.
This time around I have even more being put in place to promote all of our Content Artists, and now that we're close to be able to step back, take a breath and go 'aaaaahhhhhhhhh" those things will be rolling out again, being introduced shortly!
I hate to keep ending almost every post like these with this but I HAVE to thank you all for your paitence during this time, this is deff NOT what we expected to be walking into when we came back, and we all had a lot of great plans to fix up, update, improve the site for everyone, but everything just got slammed into pause mode, and I'm just happy you all stuck with us during this time, we're almost back and things are about to get interesting lol.

Hi Teronsuke,
I've been on RenderHub AND Renderotica since late 2024, and although I'll never be a vendor (customer only), I do plan on having a very NSFW gallery someday. I'm hesitant to post anything here though, because I want to make sure that I'm not going to accidentally break any rules (I respect your site VERY much, and don't want to do anything that will upset anyone here). So please let me tell you a little about what my artwork will contain, and I hope you can let me know if you believe my gallery posts will be welcome and acceptable here (I know everything's screened before being posted, but I don't want to waste any time and possibly upset some moderators by trying to upload something they may find offensive).
Most of my work is LGBTQ+ related (Male/Male is my favorite subject), and I use both generic Daz models and videogame characters from more mature-themed games like: Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, and Baldur's Gate (not my complete game list, but ALL the characters I use are over 18 years old, and are from games meant for adult players).
NONE of my work is AI-generated, and nothing contains violence, humiliation, children/underage people or animals, and only features fully consenting adult fictional characters who aren't harming each other (although I don't judge anyone's artwork, regardless of the content - everyone has their own unique art styles). Since I work with fantasy characters like demons/half demons, vampires, faeries and elves (including the "dark" versions of faeries and elves), they will sometimes be depicted as biting or scratching each other (resulting in small amounts of visible blood), but these acts will not be shown in a violent way - only done by adult characters who are clearly enjoying and accepting the rougher stuff. Bondage will occasionally be featured, but always as a mutually consensual activity for everyone involved (again, I'll never criticize the non-con artists at all, but it's just personally not for me - I respect everyone here).
I'm so skittish about posting "Mature" content anywhere these days because I was unexpectedly betrayed by DeviantArt back in January, when they permanently suspended my CORE+ membership and account (that I cherished for over 7 years) for posting two harmless and lighthearted gay love/sex scene GIFs from an R-rated movie (nothing sexually "explicit"). There was no actual nudity in them, and I even labeled these as "Mature" so underage people wouldn't be able to see them. DA gave me no warnings and just suspended my account while giving me no option to defend myself against their ridiculous allegations of "media manipulation" and "celebrity exploitation". Apparently they thought I "created" that sex scene through AI, and had no idea that it was from an actual movie that millions of people have already seen worldwide. How was I "exploiting" actors by simply posting a couple of GIFs from a movie THEY AGREED to star in, actively promote through public events, and then release in theaters and on digital home video/streaming services? The strangest thing is that I posted even spicier love/sex scene GIFs from a few other movies and TV shows in my DA galleries (one very passionate set of GIFs I posted had been sitting there on DA for 7 years with no complaints from anyone), and those were somehow totally acceptable to DA even though they DID show actual nudity. The only difference? Those acceptible GIFs featured men with women - I suddenly got permanently suspended (with no eligibility for an Appeal) a few days after posting two GIFs featuring a gay couple. Of course I can never prove that DA is against the LGBTQ+ community (they claim to celebrate "Pride Month" and all that), but it IS rather strange that they were just fine with non-explicit (but very spicy) M/F scenes for so many years, but immediately kicked me out when I dared to post a few GIFs from a beautiful (and very cute) gay scene.
So, the site that I loyally supported financially with a monthly subscription since 2019 (DeviantArt) suddenly ripped everything away from me and refused to fully hear my side of it (DA customer service is nothing but AI chatbots that said the same hollow things every time I messaged them about appealing my suspension). I'm contacting you because I don't want that to ever happen here on Renderotica - I'd hate to be banished from ANOTHER site that I love. I'm sorry for such a long and boring explanation, but I'm just trying to make it clear as to why I'm so hesitant to post my gay 3D erotica art - I was suspended for much, MUCH less on another site that usually allowed content a lot more explicit than what I posted there. I've since moved beyond GIF creation (they're too easy to be true "art"), and only have an interest in the fictional 3D world now, and that's why I'm trying to find some welcoming community that won't mind me having my own art gallery they can view.
Again, I apologize for this extremely long message, but I'm just so very desperate to find a "home". :(

@Dark-Shaddow-Candy
I'm not Teronsuke, just that old Pushee... but try searching the gallery for Eshiel or Jarven (who used to post mostly gay content, but now also posts straight pictures). So you definitely wouldn't be alone. Why don't you just give it a try, OK :)

Hi Pushee!
Hehe, I'm most likely the "oldest" one here (at 43). XD
I am so VERY grateful for helpful replies from everyone, so thank you for yours! ♥
The truth is, I haven't actually finished any adults-only renders yet. I just recently decided to enter the 3D erotica world after losing all interest in making movie and TV GIFs (for the reason I mentioned in my first message). I will definitely look up Eshiel and Jarven's galleries, since I love both gay AND straight art - most of my work will be M/M, but not all of it (I have some M/F render ideas that I want to try out, too).
Thanks again for your friendly AND helpful reply!

I know fanart used to make up a huge portion of the gallery images, and for some reason the previous management banned fanart completely. This pretty much wiped out my entire gallery and I was not happy about it, but that is the one restriction I'm currently unsure about.
Gay/straight/lesbian/trans doesn't matter, as long as it's labeled correctly.

Hi Henrika,
My very FIRST order and download here was your "Classic Monsters: The Doctor" freebie (way back in late December of 2024), so I'm quite honored to recieve a reply from you! ♥
NONE of my work will ever include any minors or animals, so I'm not worried at all about this rule. I'm just making sure that explicit gay (and straight) 3D fanart is allowed, which I'll be sure to label/tag clearly and properly so no one will be offended (like I said before, I respect this place and its members very much).
Thanks again for your reply (I'm a certainly a fan), and ALSO thank you for that sexy little Doctor model (SUCH a cutie)! ♥

Hello.
Everyone else pretty much beat me to the reply, so thanks to them!
As Henrika said Fan Art used to be a large portion of the gallery here and then rights holders started to crack down and brought their friends with the suits, ties, and clipboards, now no real legal threats have hit us as of yet, and while I can't speak for the prior team, I'd assume they decided to air on the side of caution and tighten up on the fan art stuff.
Henrika mentioned "banned fanart completely" BUT if you look back through the gallery you'll still see some in there, it all comes down to if it's a carbon copy / name / keywords etc, or just a "likeness" or 'close costume' sort of thing.
At best it's a legal grey area especially when it comes to adult content, and we'd rather everyone stay in a nice legal free area.
So if you HAVE to do artwork from Devil May Cry or similar titles, change up their names and likenesses a bit, don't use carbon copy outfits and things should be okay.
Case in point, recently someone uploaded "Rosie" from The Jetsons, but she was a totally diff body type and a lot more "human" looking then our old boxy animated favorite maid.
Also just as a side note, you mentioned at 43 you might be the oldest here, I don't want to call anyone out here, but it's more likely you're one of the younger ones here lol
