To Whom it may concern in CGBytesMgmt,
First, I am sorry that I am five months late in seeing the announcement that the site is under new management, to which I must give my congratulations and I know that Andrew poured a lot of love and attention into this website and Ihope that things continue to move forward with it.
However, I feel that there should be some clarification made in regards to your posted statement: Andrew was not the original creator of Renderotica; CGBytes, yes, but not Renderotica.
While this may seem like a trivial matter to some, as one of the original creators of Renderosity AND Renderotica. I along with Diane Griffith, Ed Arsenault, Doc Legume and many others who contributed greatly to its success, like Dendras, Davo, Lee Alvesson (sorry if I got your last name wrong, my friend), SynfulMindz, Sledgehammer, ManofSteel and many, many others who helped to make Renderotica what it is and what interested Andrew in purchasing it from Diane and I.
Understand, I in NO WAY wish to diminish the many contributions of Andrew, his passionate love and desire for this website and community and I enjoyed working with him during the transition and up to the fall of 2012, to where I continued for some time here as a vendor, as did Diane.
However, though this website likely would not be here if not for the dedication of Andrew and many others, likewise, I feel it is kind of a disservice to no acknowledge the many others who actually built this site from the ground up, three of whom that died still loving this place and whom remained members here (Diane, Legume and ManofSteel), as I don't wish for their contribution, or my own, to be forgotten or the history of this great community to be forgotten.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and allowing me to speak my peace about it and I wish, as a continued member here, to continue to see this site grow and become a place that Andrew and his staff envisioned, and if there is anything that I may be able to do to help that, I am still here.

Who cares about spelling my name right. I'll agree, Andrew and his minions did an awesome job, They saved a good thing. Seeing this news is the best news I've heard or read in quite some time. Full disclosure, I nearly just deleted the email but open it for once to find out to see...
I'm very glad you are back.I was actually going to message you to see if you were still alive today. For you dropped quiet. Now I know why.
While it might be a little late in hour to get the band back together, if I can assist, I'm there.

To be as clear as I can be, what has been said was that Andrew's original team is back running the company, IE the people that he himself brought in to update and create all the things that are here today.
You know full well that I am not one to try to change history or retcon anything, I might not have been at the "Thanksgiving dinner from hell" ;) but I and others still alive and kicking remember the events that lead to the Renderosity Split and the creation of Renderotica.
And yes if not for you, Diane, Ed, Doc and others there would have been no company for Andrew to take over, and none of us would be here today.
Our announcement was never meant to be a slight to the original founders of the site, but only as an assurance that after 8 years of court battles, and stagnant years of little to no updates, bugs, loss of certain features etc, that is now over, and Andrew's org team is back.
Who's behind the wheel now so to speak is the programmer / IRL friend of Andrew who was brought in after Diane's programmers contracts were up, and he built the Artist Studio and many of the other backend / behind the scenes things still running today.
Myself (who most know me as..... Loki ;) ) Another of Andrew's IRL friends who he brought in back in... I honestly forget lol but for over a decade I created or revamped and ran all the promotions, social media campaigns, contests, created and ran our 'in house' promo group and was also the community manager, I was pushed out in Oct 0f 2023 and as of May of this year I'm back as the new Store Manager (as well as my prior roles) and once we get everything fixed and in some cases back up and running, we'll finally be able to get back on track with all the things were were looking to update and create prior to Andrew's passing.
There's others back as well, but they tend to stick behind the scenes, so I'll leave it to them to pop in here and introduce themselves and where they fit in prior / now if they want to.
And Jack... you realllllly should not have offered to help out lol, I'm going to have to hit you up on Twitter as soon as I hit the submit button ;)

Got your message over there, going to hit you back up over there (as you know that's kind of become my roost the last few years)... but will be honest with ya, my friend, my discord and X account lit up like a Christmas tree with a copy of the message announcing the return and asking if I was back... for a minute there, I felt a little like John Wick. *wink* I'll gab at you on X or your discord, but as I said... you need me, I got your back.
