I've gone as far as deleting the files in the folder where I keep my third party Daz stuff, redownloading the files, and installing them all over again. I've even bought the supposed update in the Golden Palace for Genesis 3 Female that just came out.
None of it works.
I still get an error message that says: An error occurred while reading this file. See the log for more details.

I'd post a screencap of the error message, but this site is kind of junk and won't let me apparently.
How do I fix this so I can use the product I paid for again? This wasn't an issue for me until Daz Studio made me switch over to the new version...

I'm sure this is fixable.

What exact fiigure are you trying to setup ? Where are your Golden Palace files sitting ? I'm assuming you know how to

Most of us have been through this. Write down the steps here. It might be something small that was overlooked, or something weird that we'd all want to know about.

I have all the files of my third party Daz stuff in a separate folder. Daz knows where the folder is and I can access it just fine.
All of the other stuff there works just fine, so it's nothing to do with the folder location. I've tried it on a bunch of my different figures, so it's not that either.
I've gone as far as going into the folder where my third party stuff is, deleting the files for this product, downloading them again and reinstalling.
It still doesn't work.

Are you sure you're using the correct MAT Copy files. Daz Studio changed the base scripting version in Daz Studio 6, so you have to make sure the scripts you're using are built for Daz Studio 6+

I'm downloading the files from the website that I bought and installing them. And the new update thing. I'm not touching anything in the actual files themselves. Do I have to change a setting in Daz or something?

Meipe posted a set of Material copy scripts that work in DAZ 6, because the scripting language has changed.

They're fairly easy to find here. I would wish they'd be integrated in to the regular downloads though.

You'll find most of this stuff in this thread on this forum.

If I'm not mistaken, Meipe has submitted an updated version to this store, so that could make it in to everyones hands soon, though it's just likely to be the same that you can find in the above thread.
