To the Renderotica community,

I love sharing images here because this is such a rewarding space for "uncensored" creativity. As I’ve been posting more and more images lately, I’ve found myself reflecting on the current "AI storm" that is reshaping our visual world.

There is a fascinating tension between the precision of 3D and the atmosphere of GenAI. In my view, they don't have to be rivals; they can be partners:

The Power of 3D (Precision): For some the hero props are non-negotiable. A perfectly modeled Dildo, a Sybian, or an intricate torture instrument provides a tactile reality that AI still struggles to replicate perfectly on its own. These are the anchors of our scenes.
The Magic of GenAI (Atmosphere): Where AI truly shines is in iteration and "vibe." It takes the heavy lifting out of lighting and mood-setting, allowing us to explore different emotional worlds in seconds rather than hours.
The Bridge: From Props to LoRAs
This is where it gets exciting for creators. If you have spent time perfecting a 3D prop, you only need a few steps to turn that prop into a LoRA. In the world of GenAI, a high-quality LoRA carries the same weight and value as a classic Prop for DAZ scenes. The AI world is essentially waiting for creators to develop these "hero" elements—the specific parts that make erotic scenes truly demanding and detailed.

The Uncensored Sanctuary: A New Market for RR
We see platforms like CivitAI struggling with the pressures of censorship from payment providers, often forcing them to split into "safe" and "wild" versions and simply rejecting more and more LoRAs. Renderotica has always been our sanctuary—a place where we don't have to worry about being "too much."

This creates a massive opportunity. While other sites might be forced to hide the grit and glory of high-end erotica, RR is perfectly positioned to host the next generation of assets. For those who create props: you can turn your 3D masterpieces into LoRAs and find a home for them where they won't be judged or hidden.

The AI world is hungry for high-quality, erotic LoRAs that capture the soul of your favorite props.

Might be taking this conversation sideways, if so I appologies.  Power of 3D rendering is light.  We need those fancy GPUs to calculate light as it interacts with scene elements.  While light is present in GenAI it is learned, not calculated.  IMO this is why GenAI images have sort of a washed look to them.  If your LoRA is trained on a variety of lighting possibilities, it will look better; but then you're fighting the base model and it's learned lighting vs a 3D render's calculated lighting. It's not a bad idea, I would recommend making light an important part of your process though.

thanks 2 users thanked kwerkx for this useful post.

Maybe your experience isn't up to date?

A lot of what people say about GenAI is old news. Yet people keep claiming it anyway.
When you search the internet, you always come across the well-aged stuff first—the kind that sometimes even smells a bit :)

Well, that’s just how it is; you have to live with it… and set the record straight whenever you can.
So: Thanks for bringing it up.

Modern (and above all: free!) Z-Image models (which are far superior to SD1, SDX, or Pony models) deliver top-notch photo quality. A lot is already built into these models that, with other models, you’d have to fine-tune using tons of LoRAs—including the well-known problem that the LoRAs interfere with each other, resulting in borderline junk. With good Z-Image or Flux models, you only need to supplement the lighting with LoRAs in special cases. They handle most requirements right out of the box.

When I mention LoRAs in the post above, I’m referring specifically to those special parts that aren’t widely available even for DAZ. These days, anything that crosses the line gets censored. Even models labeled “uncensored” don’t include that content.

If you want to find out what GenAI is capable of today, take a look at the gallery here. There are some great examples there. Or check out https://civitai.red/.
