I've added new "Shell Fix" scripts that work with both DAZ Studio 4.24- and DAZ Studio 6+.
In DAZ Studio, surfaces that aren't supported by a graft are shown as white on geoshells. If you're using multiple grafts, their geoshells may not support each other, which can result in unwanted white patches.
My old "shell fix" scripts worked by setting unsupported surfaces to 100% transparency. The new scripts take a different approach: they completely turn off the unsupported surfaces instead. This makes them more reliable and should greatly reduce the need for future updates as DAZ Studio shaders continue to evolve.
Each script is made for a specific graft. For example, the Fender Blender "Shell Fix" script will:
Turn off all visibility parameters on the Fender Blender shell except those related to the Fender Blender graft;
Turn off the Fender Blender visibility parameters on all other loaded shells.
Please note: If you have more than one of my grafts loaded with their matching geoshells (for example, Fender Blender and Headlights), along with other grafts and shells (such as one from RawArt), you'll need to run the "Shell Fix" script for each of my grafts you have loaded. In this example, you would run BOTH the Fender Blender Shell Fix and the Headlights "Shell Fix" scripts.
Tell me what do you think, and if you want them for G8 as well!
