It seems that bondage ropes are hard to make.
My main fetish is relatively mild female outdoor bondage, so straps and chains are totally out of topic.
I still use G8f/G8.1f slowly giving a try to G9.
Hemp cords with "hairs" would be a nice addition.
Thanks a lot , really !

ropes in Daz.....suck....tubes, ropes, wires all are a no go in my eyes. I just use Ai to fill in those bits. Blender would be my 2nd option, addons to help with it and Ive found posing those things easier in Blender and exporting into Daz.

Ropes are a nightmare to pose, period. Multiple segments, easy pose bending with bending built in makes an enormous file. Bending segments manually makes them look choppy. Thats why you see a lot of chains. I think most ropes you do see are a static prop or conforming bits that are applied like clothing or go around a wrist on body part but not really attached to anything.

Thanks Davo
To be really honest, I'm ready to learn how to use Blender or Max to fulfill my naughty needs ! Even if it's a big learning curve.
Ropes are absolutely horrendous to use in DazStudio or even Poser. It's indeed choppy and one never knows where the the end or or the last segments are. Shaders are often ugly and distorted.
As far as remember Pichard pictures are quite often made with ropes !
Beside I hate AI pictures

Corel Photopaint used to have a media brush called candy ropes, it swirled 3 orbits of paint around as you moved the cursor and it made it look like hemp ropes with a light source on one side so it looked 3d, it was so cool to be able to just paint in ropes like that. Next version didn't include that, sad.
