Some vendors ar selling the same things sometimes at a different prices on various sites.

As I understand, that selling is extremely important, One have to scrupulously check to avoid double purchases.

It's a "niche" market, but customers satisfaction is important too.

Thunder-3D is a Renderotica (and CGBytes) exclusive brand, and Thunder-3D products are ONLY licensed to be sold here. If you see someone else selling as me on another site, or selling products identical to mine under a different name, that theft has been an ongoing issue for years and I would please ask you to report it directly to me or directly to the 'rotica admins.

Other vendors have different products at various sites, personally I don't see any harm in it. One thing to consider on those other sites though, is the vendors don't have as much control over their pricing/images in promotional materials, which is one reason you may see different prices or even different promotional artwork.

Most of us try very hard to show you exactly what you're getting when you buy a product, via the promo images on the product page. I hope that effort is helpful in preventing double purchases :)

What Seven is talking about is vendors selling the "same" product on different sites, though with the Renderhub Apocalypse that won't be as much of a thing as it was. But there's still Renderosity. There are assets, characters, etc that are available on multiple platforms and are sometimes sold for different prices - typically when they first come out at a discount. It's not someone selling an asset that doesn't belong to them, just their own on multiple sites. The issue usually is that somehow the price ends up, though the discount might be the same on both sites, different. Tri-X characters are $6 cheaper on 'Osity than the Hub, for instance when on sale. I'd speculate that it could be the site's cut being the difference, but still, having assets on multiple sites can become complicated for we poor consumers when we buy/own more than a few. Though thanks to the Hubs new draconian measures, more vendors may well come back here, should Renderotica et al get its risky vendor processing sorted out before the heat death of the universe. After all, where else can they go, now?
