Golden Palace G9 Mat Copy doesn't work in Daz 2026 Beta

Hi there Meipe,
I know there's no reason for your products to support the Beta version of Daz, but wanted to report this anyway in case it's an early heads-up. I've just had to move to the 2026 Beta because I upgraded to a 5070 Ti which means I can no longer render using Daz 4. But I've just discovered the Mat Copy script in Golden Palace G9 throws an error when used in the Beta and doesn't work. This is the log message:
[WARNING] :: Script Error (D:/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Library/People/Genesis 9/Anatomy/Golden Palace/3-Golden Palace_Material Copy.dse): Line 430 [WARNING] :: TypeError: Property 'setLabel' of object QVariant(DzTSharedPointer<DzElement>, DzBrickMaterial(0x274f3ac1a10, name = "Body")) is not a function 2026-06-02 23:50:32.463 [WARNING] :: Error in script execution: D:/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Library/People/Genesis 9/Anatomy/Golden Palace/3-Golden Palace_Material Copy.dse
I tried selecting the G9 body, copying the mat, selecting the Golden Palace and pasting the mat, but that results in a mismatch in the shaders somewhere and the Golden Palace renders darker than the figure's body mat.
So, my workaround is to open the scene in Daz 4, use the Mat Copy script, which works fine, save and go back to the Beta to carry on!

I was also wondering if there is a new script for Material Copy for DS 2026 Beta? I can't seem to find one after looking around and most of Meipe's footer links don't work...

The release of the D6 beta was way too early. It's still an alpha from my POV. Before SDKs and scripts are really stabilized, it's relatively unusable.

Unfortunately as I mentioned before, I have to use the beta as the 5070 cards won't render using Daz 4.xx. So much as I'd prefer not to be using a beta, and It's a pain switching from version to version to prep figures that need geoshells and mat copies applied, then render the scene, but currently I have no other choice.

I did LOL very loudly this morning when I got the email from Daz. And then a little whoop of joy... hopefully Meipe will have the issue fixed in no time at all!
