If you have a Microsoft email address, hotmail, live, msn, etc...I'd recommend changing it as your account associated email. We've been having ongoing issues with Microsoft blocking our system generated emails, because the service we use has an IP address on a network that they've blocked. It's not because of OUR IP it's because we are on a Network that got blocked, so, we are recommending that if you are having difficulty receiving emails from us, change your email service provider.

i hope it's not something that other email providers will start doing, knowing the site's content.

It's time to get REAL email providers that work for you and DON'T knuckle under to some political or religious movement.
My main provider is Hushmail in Canada. As a backup I have a free address with Mailfence in Belgium. Both allow several
alternate addresses for nefarious purposes.

Just curious, they are blocking the a set of IP addresses, not the Renderotica email address, correct?

I hope this can be resolved as I've been using Hotmail since I was walking side by side with the dinosaurs

If there's no hope of a fix, I'll work on getting an alternate address but that would be a bummer.

The problem is blocking our website generated emails. So, things like Password resets, registrations, wish list emails, New posts from followed artists. If you have a Microsoft domain email, hotmail, msn, outlook, live, etc. Then you won't receive the emails. If you have a Microsoft email and want to test it, request a forgotten password email. We have turned off allowing Microsoft emails for registering a new membership. It's the systems they've added to their spam filters and it's blocking thousands of emails. Our email service, SendGrid has been working with them, but it's ongoing. No solution in site.

Issue

Emails sent via Twilio SendGrid to Microsoft consumer domains (Outlook.com, Hotmail, MSN, Live.com, etc.) might be blocked and not delivered. The bounce reason usually appears as:
550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [xxx.xx.xxx.xx] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3150/S3140)

This error can appear in delivery logs or bounce notifications. It is driven by Microsoft’s own block lists and reputation systems, and has become especially prevalent following changes to their filtering algorithms.

Important: SendGrid has confirmed with Microsoft that many current blocks (especially S3140/S3150) are not attributable to sender configuration issues or platform problems, but ongoing Microsoft-side changes impacting reputable senders. Microsoft uses tools like SNDS, blocklists, and protocol filters—sometimes erring on the side of over-blocking.

i can confirm that Microsoft has been sending a lot of trusted companies to the spam box and sometimes not even arriving, yet scam/fraud emails go though like butter, it's hurting more than helping. but that's sadly current Microsoft, they're probsbly using AI for their detections

i really don't know. maybe the email provider (the one that owns the IP that's currently blocked) would know more.

Requests to unblock our IP have been submitted. We are now currently waiting for Microsoft. In the meantime, we are recommending that any members who currently use a Microsoft domain email, (Hotmail, Live, Outlook, MSN, etc) that they change their accounts associated email address to something else until Microsoft stops mass blocking legitimate email senders. We'll continue to monitor the situation but currently we have added all Microsoft email domains to our blocklist in the registration email verification tool. If you use a Microsoft email, and you need to request a forgotten password email, you're not going to receive it right now, unless they unblock our IP. Historically, when they are blocking a Network of IPs, they don't whitelist just one in the batch. Now you know where we are at. Make your decisions wisely.
