...how about releasing a version of breastacular that doesn't replace the original figure's breast geometry with its own mesh, but uses the figure's, like breastacular for g8? lots of g9 figures have interesting breast shapes now, which wasn't the case when breastacular for g9 came out.
thanks!

Maybe the right thing to do would be a G9 Headlights, improving the nipples and leaving alone the breast's mesh... 🤔

Yes! I came here exactly to suggest this. Not saying Breastacular for G8F is bad, at all, but lately I've been using more Headlights because it's simpler while still having the awesome nipple shapes and morphs. So that got me wondering if you would run into the same issues as with Breastacular for G9 if it's only changing the nipples/areolas like Headlights does. Honestly, the issue with Breastacular for G9 is pretty much why I still don't use that figure so I'd definitely get Headlights for G9 if it means I can use whatever character morph without issues and having to create a fix for each one.

Then it isn't a graft and pushes a whole different area of issues, Vendors in the past tried or had to use conforming figures and there were poke through issues, or issues where the conformer had to sit just above the figure which left a gap, which cast shadows among other issues.
And the difference between G8 Breastacular and G9 Breastacular isn't a graft or no graft thing, they are both geo-grafted breasts. The issue is to get grafts to work on G9 they've had to add rigidity maps, and the problem with rigidity maps is it blocks the underlying figure morphs. So it is more an issue of changes in G9 that forced methods used on the grafts to be changed, and the way Vendors got things to work, also hindered the grafts working like grafts worked on previous figure generations.

then that means the gen 9 model as a whole has MAJOR MAJOR problems.
i am all for though as a FIX, till we get gen 10 with separate meshes back with female and male, cause i know that is coming the way gen 9 is failling for daz, is to just have headlights cause the geograft doesn't work. the rest do, but not breastacular.

I've done some testings, and Headlights properly behave with G9, so it'll be soon released!

As a g9 user I've never used headlights before. What is the difference between the two? On my models I am currently using btacular if I was to change to headlights would they retain the same shape or would it get changed?

Quick answer the Breastacular graft replaces a large area of the chest of the figure, where the headlights graft just replaces the nipple/areola area.
My guess is you'd have to manually rebuild/transfer the nipple and areola morphs if you were to switch from one graft to the other. As even if the morphs are identical, the names will be different to not cause issues with Daz Studio throwing duplicate formulas errors. (It shouldn't be too hard as in the past the morphs have been the same, just slightly different naming ie. BL Nipple 10 and something like HL Nipple 10) so you could go under parameters tab, look at currently used and jot down what nipple and areola morphs are used and then delete breastacular, add Headlights, and apply the morphs you jotted down on the Headlights graft.

The computer with the headlights files broke down, so I published "G9 Cream Cascade" first. The issue should be solved Tomorrow, so I'll be back on tracks ;)
