Here are the G9 "Material Copy" scripts updated for the DS 2025 alpha...
I'll soon build the update for the G8/G3 scripts.

BTW, the 2025 update doesn't work with the older DS (4.23-), so keep the older scripts for some time 😉

Thanks for creating the new script! I couldn't wait to use them and the G9 Golden Palace and G9 Breastacular popups showed nothing copied!!! sadly they didn't work . Here are some error logs

In the DAZ technical forums they say they'll likely change core script methods again and again, so the updated scripts may work or not until they release a stable version. For me they worked with the 2025 alpha I downloaded yesterday 😉

I did a quick test with golden palace, fender bender and breastacular using build 11206: I can confirm that the scripts work :)

Hi, I didn't update to 2025, so I don't know what's going on. Did they change the scripting language? Like, tot all the language, but enough to render the old scripts incompatibles? If so, that's so bad. I think I'll avoid 2025 until I can.

Woho. Thanks a lot. Will try this out right away.
The 2025 Alpha, which is a totally separate application that does not disrupt your old DAZ install afaik, is pretty efficient in many ways. I'm having a decent time with it.
Shortcuts can be created now, which wasn't possible with the first alpha or two they put out. This thing is updated a lot.

This alpha is installed as a separate application, so it's easy to try out.
NO scripts work right now that aren't changed to fit. Same for all the grafts that use scripts to copy materials.

Quoting their official statement:
"Since this is an alpha release only it would be very wise to avoid trusting any undocumented calls - there is a pretty high probability that they may change before a full General Release version (and even then undocumented calls are not guaranteed to remain the same)"

Is there any tutorial or universal means for which to 'graft' any object without your script? I'm in the limbo of having the 5000 series so what I have to do at the moment is run everything in 4.24 and then open it over to the 2025 version for any G8 model

Anyone knows if the Dictator G8M / G8.1M scripts for DazStudio 2025 exists yet?
I haven't seen it in the list ... does it exist yet? Somewhere else?

I just tried it out with the 6.25 alpha and unfortunately it doesn't work. It seems to be a change in the script again?
