I'm trying to get a genesis 3 product called "Lumps, Bumps and Beauty Spots" by PhilW to work with Genesis 8 Female.
I've tried various things in order to get it to work, some have failed completely, others have worked partially. The Product works via rigid follow nodes, and I tried replacing the nodes with new ones by assigning different parts of the G8F Body via Geometry Editor. It would work somewhat, and begin following the body in various poses but some would cause the spots to malalign or completely mirror that of the body's pose. It's been frustrating, and I've been trying to get it to work for nearing 2 months now but haven't made much progress. my knowledge of daz3D is limited.
So if anyone can help, I'd like for this to be ported over to Genesis 8 Female so It can work flawlessly once more, With some Minor Expansion to the Product so their are options to apply the spots to other areas of the body, such as the feet, arms, back, stomach, ass, legs, hands, etc. It is a useful product in creating models with minor blemishes on them, or can be used for apocalyptic scenario's like a survivor character, or someone who is infected with a virus. its also useful for applying to fantasy creatures as well.
I wish someone could create a new product inspired by PhilW's creation from Scratch for Genesis 8 and 9 since it was quite a good product for Genesis 3, but until someone does for now if anyone is willing to help in converting. I'd be most grateful. Thank you.
