Another issue I’ve just found. I use almost entirely custom characters, (nothing really big or voluptuous, but I’m still noticing distortion of the rear thighs) if I apply a pair of stockings and/or garters, they follow the G8F mesh, but not the AP mesh where the legs join, so the top of the stockings seems to sink inside the mesh along with any strappy garters fitted over her ass. Will the anticipated update solve this issue? If not will making custom thigh/ass morphs onto AP to match my characters shape help?
Also, while I’m on the topic. I’ve been trying out various texture options to better match my characters and saw a bunch of texture files that don’t seem to be being utilised, such as labia majora texture maps. I’ve added these to a second geoshell, and it seems the Majora mask is not in the right place, I have to shift the vertical tile offset up 0.9 to make it match, and there seems to be a second anus spot on that texture map that doesn’t line up with the anus at all, no matter what UV is loaded. Having made a new texture for my character, saving it does not save the UV set used, but I think this is more a Daz issue than a product issue.
Other than that, this is a first class product. The enormous number of extra bones and the resulting flexibility are outstanding. I’m looking forward to the G9 version with these little niggles worked out.

The update is there but i also didn't receive notification by email.
I tried the new update and i must say it works pretty well.
There are still issues regarding the tights inner parts are still bulged on tiny characters.
But in general works well.

Check under your account settings to make sure the receive update emails hasn't been unchecked.
I know mine had been recently unchecked for the update emails., sales notifications, and newsletter, so I had to recheck the boxes

hello please I bought your advance pussy product yesterday and it's amazing! I love trying all the different morphs!
1. only one thing bothers me.. you know, I have added various accessories for the character (geoshell) golden leaf purchased on daz3d...

2. which causes the figure to be all gold (at least it should be) except for the genitalia (and unfortunately I still haven't figured out how to make the genitalia (advance pussy) golden as well... I've tried everything... ..including iray uber...+ various instructions...nothing worked...the figure is golden, but the genitals are clean, no golden leaf...
that's why I'm asking for your help.
is there a way i can have a character with advanced pussy gold?
I will be happy to explain everything to you in more detail if you have discord or another email.

on the left is a Cj Sirpa gen 8.1 character (I don't know why it did this)

@BrotherHades: I checked, and it is ticked. I've noticed this happen before on past updates, especially for Meipe's products. Anyway, thanks for this new product, Laudanum. Even my squat dwarf chick has an issue with her inner thighs.

@weder002 I had something similar happen when I loaded a GF8.1 base and applied a GF8 skin to it. Advanced Pussy's Copy Mat G8.1 function left the texture completely off, probably due to the mismatch of skin, which is a shame since some of the GF8 skins have superior textures compared to 8.1.. just minus the micro-details. I tried Copy Mat G8 feature and it still did not help.
Hopefully there'll be a fix to let you use GF8 skin on GF8.1 while using the Copy Mat feature. Other than that, amazing product! <3

There’s a way to do it but you have to do it manually.
Make sure that Advanced Pussy is applied to Genesis first so that when you load the gold leaf geoshell it should also encompass Advanced Pussy.
Select gold leaf geoshell and check in surface tab if you see the material zones corresponding to Advanced Pussy. All you have to do is copy/paste the body material to all the Advanced Pussy material and it should work.
If it doesn’t copy properly, it’s probably because the materials corresponding to Advanced Pussy are DAZ Default. To fix it you need to select the material zone and apply the Iray Uber shader. When all the material zones have the same shader, the copy/paste material will work perfectly.

So- congratulations to a great product.
Still even with this update, I am running into a problem.
My Iray renderer is not starting. It seems to get lost in pre calculations.
The reason must be the geo shell, for as soon I delete it from my scene, Iray works again.

I just downloaded the AP update01 and I'm very happy with the results. My slender ladies no longer have enormous butts and I now have full control over their private parts.... muwhahahaha.
Moreover, the AP geograft produces much less distortion of the upper inner thigh region than the native genesis figures when the legs are in "splits position"; this is particularly good for the Gf8.1 figure. The extra bones give so much additional control too. One could only wish that DAZ3d had spent as much effort with the bones and weight maps, as Laudanum obviously has, when designing their G8f/G8f8.1 characters in the first place.
The one-click materials copy icon works perfectly, so I'm not limited to the mats of DAZ3d standard characters.
One minor observation; with slender hipped figures the little objects for controlling the mesh are now offset from the mesh. They still seem to work as intended though. It doesn't affect the functioning of AP and is just a minor aesthetic detail. (see attached image)

Having seen on the forum that this excellent concept had a few problems, I hesitated purchasing until the bugs were fixed. I purchased and downloaded the item, and the fix, loaded it up, and lo....it doen'st work, get distortion on the thighs and buttocks of even the basic Gen 8 and 8.1. Perhaps the builder should have spent 2 years and a bit longer in its making.!

Are you using the Update01 version?
You say you downloaded the fix, but have you installed it? The update01 solved the issues for me.

I can confirm that I have downloaded and installed the 66734_Laudenum Update 01 over the original 66734 Laundenum product. It ia distoritng both original Gen 8 and Gen 8.1 thighs and buttocks. Edited by user Tuesday, November 29, 2022 12:33:01 PM(UTC)

Notes after the update... Basically the product works only on gen 8/8.1 base. if you move away from the basic shape (thicker, fatter, of different heights), the more you feel the deformation.
Applied to the Genesis base, however, I find defects that annoy me ( :) ).
AP, when the model is spread-eagled, it forms unnatural creases (you could also see them in the promo) which are annoying and, very important for me, the tendons connected to the groin are absent (adding my own or other non-hd morphs the result does not change, the tendons do not erupt).
It seems to me that there is still a lot of work to be done to make this product usable.
I hope it can be resolved because behind AP there is an interesting idea
