I've been looking for individual body parts for G8 Males and G8 Females, and even on this site, I can't seem to find any. There are plenty of contraptions on this site that require those body parts, but none of the body parts themselves (except for use with Poser, and I use Daz Studio).

Help a fella out - give me any links to stuff like this you know of, whether on this site or others.

Thanks.

Have you tried this? Load a figure and hide the parts you don't want. Export as an .obj file (choose 10% as a size) and then reimport.

And then there are these as well:

I looked at the menu on Daz Studio for saving various types of files, and didn't see obj. anywhere on there. Am I missing it? I have the latest version of Daz.

Thank you for reponding.

Might actually need to do a file/export, not save as. Pose the body part the way you want it before exporting it. When you want to bring it back into the scene I believe you would need to do a file/import and look for the obj file. You can use the surface tool and surface menu to copy materials from one figure to the surface of your imported obj. I'm kind of running off my bad memory as I'm not at my pc right now.
thanks 1 user thanked davo for this useful post.

Hey, thanks for the quick replies. :) I'll check out the export function as soon as I'm through rendering my current file.
