There is a problem that I encountered early when doing erotic renders and buying outfits.  I will use the Daz Fit Control as my main morphing tool to pull a blouse straps aside to expose a breast or pull down a panty, but you will see lots of dresses that are sort of "locked" in place with, say, a strap that holds it up where the strap runs around the back of the model's neck.  Or maybe it isn't a shoulder-less dress and the blouse covers her entire torso as if there was supposed to be a big zipper running down her back or across her shoulders, or maybe a set of buttons down the front -- none of which the designer provided any morphs for opening.

Here is a trick I have been using to get around this problem:

Within Daz Studio, select the dress and then click on the Geometry Editor tool and switch the view to "Wire texture shaded".  "Cut" a line of polygons out of a strap, blouse shoulder, or back of a dress where there should be a zipper or clasp. Be very careful because sometimes the polygons are practically invisible because they can be so small. That will "open" the dress.  The designers will often have portions of the dress not dForce enabled, so just go to the Surfaces tab, and select the Simulations sub-tab and set the Dynamics Strength value to 1.  That enables dForce to work for that surface.  You might also want to change the Friction setting to its lowest value to make the garment slide down easily.  If the dress is too tight around the hips and you don't want to bother cutting a slice where a zipper should be at its back or side, simply increase the scale of the dress for that render so that it will fall easily.  If you do all this, running a simulation will cause the garment to slide right down to her ankles easily.  Use Fit Control to still do reveals as needed, but use any designer supplied morphs to do things like pull the blouse over the head or other things that Fit Control doesn't do as well.  Fit Control can leave the edges of things appearing ragged, so designer-supplied morphs may work better at times.  Also, get familiar with the Daz Studio D-former to create your own morphs for tricky situations.  That tools is remarkably easy once you have tried it. And apply the tools together!  For example, you might want to use Geometry Editor to cut not just slice not just a zipper but anywhere in the material that you might want to do a reveal and then just create a morph to expose it more fully.

By the way, if you use dForce and run a simulation to let the dress fall to her ankles, use that as a photo opportunity!  In my mind, one of my favorite porn photos in my collection was one of the backside of a nude model looking back at the camera pensively with her dress and panties at her ankles as if she was waiting for a spanking.  Very cute shot!

Also, by using the techniques above, you can also get another "important" erotic photo opportunity:  If you have a girl bent over in doggie position, but with her face against the floor and butt sticking up straight, you will want to have the skirt shown draped down from her waist across her torso instead of being shown falling down her body to the floor.  Fit Control doesn't handle this properly.  Just adjust the Dynamics Strength and Friction values as I described, and the material should invert itself as if her boyfriend was lifting it up from behind and draping it over her back before penetrating her.  You could also have her panties at her knees as she is bent over by pulling them down with Fit Control.

Sure, you can get into Hexagon, Blender, and other packages if you like, but for simply making erotic reveals, this method I describe will probably handle just about every outfit you come across.  For example, if you notice, there don't seem to be any crotchless panties out there in the marketplace of the sort that aren't just a big hole showing the genitalia.  Right now, I am working on just taking a standard panty, removing a slit of polygons so that the extended inner labia can poke through as the "basic tease" and then will just add a couple of morphs to enable it to be opened to show the model in a more excited mood.  The whole thing should take just a few minutes.

With all this said, I think you can see that dresses you might not have considered buying because they appear "locked" can actually easily be revealed.  This opens up most of the outfit marketplace for you!  You can even open strategic holes in non-erotic garments with Geometry Editor to expose, say a nipple, and make it erotic.  Again, all without having to learn a new package.

All you more experienced users may have even better ideas, but these techniques are what I have been using with a really good effect.

What morph(s) in Fit Control should I use before applying the Dynamics Strength and Friction changes in this use case? I tried Fit Control long time ago and the morphs never looked right for anything longer than a miniskirt.

Thanks

Set the Dynamic Strength and Friction first, and then the Fit Control morphs.  I believe Fit Control can be affected by various material settings so it is best to get those done first, I think.

I try to use the minimum amount of morph settings whenever using Fit Control as it can mess up the material, but I use it a lot.  But with all that in mind, perhaps it might be helpful for me to give an actual example of a stripdown.

In this case, I have a pose of the girl standing with her legs straight, close together (but slightly separated) and bent over with her hands about to touch her shins.  I am leaving a gap between her hands and shins because
I want the final rendition to be of her with her panty at her ankles and her dress pulled up over her butt and down across her lowered back as if her lover lifted it up before she is to be penetrated.  I want dForce to slide down the panty between her hands and legs without her hands obstructing the movement.

For a short skirt, we could just use Fit Control to lift up the skirt and then let dForce let it settle across her back.  With Friction low, it will slide down her back like ice.  But the skirt we will use here in this example is much longer so Fit Control won't be able to pull it up over her butt properly without distorting the dress too much.
So, in this case, we will use an extra tool that I didn't mention earlier, but is really handy:  The Wind Node.  Essentially, the Wind Node is just a fan that you can place below her skirt and point it up to blow the dress across her butt and down her back.
But there seems to be a bit of a quirk with the Wind Node in that a collision can occur between the panty and the dress for some reason, crashing the simulation.  So, we will first run the simulation letting the panty drop to her ankles, and once that part is done,
turn on the fan to lift up the dress to drape it down her backside.  Here is a video on how to use the Wind Node:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1ZtsT8dcCY

So, here is what I did:

Added the Daz Flirty Bow Dress to figure, and then added Silver Snake's panty from the Silver Spring Delight outfit. Both of these are already dForce enabled, but you still want to go into the material settings and change the Dynamic Strength anyway because the designers will often only make certain
parts of a garment dForce enabled.  So I lowered Friction and set Dynamic Strength for both dress and panty.  This is really important.

Set Fit Control to panty only.  I don't want Fit Control settings to affect the dress and will only use Fit Control here to pull down the panty.

At frame 0:
Set pose to basic.  Moved legs close together similar to what the final pose position will be.  I can't use Fit Control on the final pose here because the panty becomes unattached from the figure.  So I will just use Fit Control to pull the panty down close to her ankles, but then
let dForce do its job to settle the material on the ankles and floor realistically.  I will make sure the legs are close to the same position as the final pose, however.  I don't want the figure moving all over the place as the panty falls down.
Moved the fan up close under her butt facing upwards so that the wind will blow the dress upward across her butt.
Used Fit Control to pull panty down past knees by using the "Down All 2" setting.  This distorted the panty less than the "Down All 1" setting, but both can work.  Adjusted Scale setting of panty where it got broken by Fit Control to reassemble the panty and prevent poke-thrus before the simulation is run.

At frame 30, I applied the final, bent-over pose to the figure.  So between Frame 0 and Frame 30, the figure will be bending over from the base position to the pose position while the panty is falling to her ankles.
I then turned on fan to 50 Mph.  At this point in the simulation, the panty will be at the girl's ankles and won't be affected by the fan.

At frame 40, the dress will be above her butt in the simulation.  Move the fan upward and direct the wind flow horizontally to enable the wind to force the dress across her back.
Turn off the fan at frame 60 as it should now have done its job in getting the dress across her back.

Let simulation run to 70 to let the material settle with dForce in a natural position with it draped down her back as she is bent over, her butt sticking up and fully exposed, and her panty at her ankles. She is now ready for her man.

You can now place the girl's hands on her shins if desired before rendering a photo, closing that gap I mentioned earlier.

I hope this helps to understand what I do to strip down a girl. I mentioned also using the Geometry Editor for slicing locked-in blouses and creating your own morphs.  These are also really easy to use once you have done it once or twice.  But with that said,
I have a personal gripe with Daz in that they haven't handled simulation crashes properly.  Evidently, the simulation is run on multiple processing threads.  When the sim crashes, it should shut down those processes.  Instead, it crashes the entire program and those
threads can keep on running.  To fix that requires a lot of technical understanding of the software and hardware and requires a lot of time (expense) to work with the vendors to get it all working right.  I am convinced it could be done but I know they
don't want to spend the money.  The result is that getting everything I just described can be quite time-consuming until you really get familiar with where things can break.  And even then, it can be just downright frustrating at times.

Hopefully, with all that said, you can get your girls stripped down properly in a state that any man can appreciate with more ease than it takes to get a real girl's clothes off!

Update:
I was having problems updating photos in my original post, but fortunately the webmaster was able to explain how to do it.  I have included the final rendition below.  Note the blue panty at her ankles, the bow from her dress had fallen beside it, and the placement of the fan as it blew her dress across her butt down her back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of that up and share this with the community... so much love here, I love it ((some!) pun intended!) ;)

Now, this isn't really for me; posts like these remind me how lucky I got for having the ability to pick up on ZBrush (which use is a story of its own), but I most definitely appreciate great posts when I see 'm!

Thank you for your kind words ZenMaster3D.  I wish I knew other packages besides Daz, but perhaps that will come later since I suspect you can get even better results with those packages in certain situations.  My main goal was to let people know that they don't need to just look for outfits by designers that have a lot of morphs since you can do so much within Daz to get what you need.  Yesterday, I just bought a whole bunch of Lully's dresses off Renderocity, which I never would have in the past because she doesn't provide morphs and has her dresses "locked" with straps and other things to keep them from pulling off easily.  I hate to see people pass up great designers because of that misconception.  It's just terrible the things we guys have to go through just to get a girl naked.

I usually start with simple dforce then dforce animated, but often enough there are products with submeshes that just won't work without heavy editing within daz geometry section (such as with pockets and belt loops) and know it's quickest to just jump into Blender and do a sculpt edit within a few minutes instead of wasting hours on daz's poor physics to do the job.

This goes for a lot of hair situations as well as clothing.

I'd be lying if I said there are many outfits I never bought simply because of this reason, and thank you for the time to write up a good explanation step by step. Now maybe there's a few outfits I can try out that I've been avoiding!

In my experience, the amount of time and effort required to see a nude woman only increases the final payoff...
