iclone 8 - things seem to have changed

i have dabbled with iclone and DAZ over a lot of years and versions. i always thought iclone was better at animation but had worse looking models. always thought DAZ had much better models and asset store. recently though iclone 8 is just crushing it and i was wondering if there are any creators in here who would consider doing stuff for iclone? and their v8 models? is there a standing rule about it and do i sound like a retard for asking? :) any input appreciated

Iclone8 & CC4 is a giant leap in animation as far as I'm concerned automating a lot of the process...That being said >>> Their business model is a huge money grabbing rip-off.
Earlier this year They ran a sales campaign stating "buy Iclone7 and CC3 now and get the Iclone8 and CC4 upgrade for free"... SO I bought Iclone7 and CC3 I also bought the CC3 pipeline edition a couple weeks later.. When the upgrade came out I installed them and got a 30day trial so I contacted them asking whats up with that... Their response was that I had to have spent at least $795 to be eligible for the free upgrade, and that I hadn't met that criteria... I have to agree with xxxjafoxxx... I mean shit there is a REASON we don't all already work in just 3dmax + Maya.As far as HUGE LEAP...sheesh master Daz and you won't think that.
Iclone and all that as is won't get you anywhere close to the versatility of the Daz engine. You are being fooled by Daz's base rigs and lighting, go beyond that with advanced techniques and maybe a nudge from blender you can go well beyond Iclone....a nd a lot cheaper....respectfully .lol there's always another sale (tm).
