Is it possible to block or prevent certain users from commenting on your renders in the gallery?

there is a radio button to choose allow comments on the submission page. You choose yes or no

True, but that blocks everyone. I like comments on my images, but if one particular asshole was trolling me, I'd want them silenced.

Blocking? I don't think so, but there are some things you can do...  If said person is breaking the rules then start by reporting them, this site has some very dedicated staff on hand and... sure, I am going on personal bias now but I'm sure that they will look into things.


However, I just checked myself and noticed that you can hide comments as well. That could be useful too: click the small arrow behind the name of a poster and you get some options which you can use, including the one to hide posts..
