It wouldn't make much sense for the people who have already posted a list of artwork "they are proud of" to just post more artwork. No argument from me on this. I wasn't trying to suggest that those who had already shared should share more. :-)

I suppose I could have worded that last statement in my previous post more clearly. I agree about other artists posting/sharing, who haven't done so yet. Sadly, these forums don't seem to get the traffic they once did, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway... Thanks again for starting the thread.

Cool! Glad ya like it. The figure is Project Evolution, a must-buy for any smut creating Poser user.

You have some impressive numbers of clicks on your images! I liked looking thru your gallery.

This render was first posted, like fifteen years or so ago at Old Rotica. It was stolen by Russians to be sold at their wallpaper site, something I saw at the time as a compliment. Pretty sure I was doing Poser4 at the time because I remember having to do my own breast morphs since P4 didn't support available products.

I'm always surprised at what some people manged to do with V4. I always ended up doing too much work to make V4 pose the way I wanted her to, many years ago, and ran into functional conflicts when making posing morphs.

Enjoyed the image. :-)

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah people do great stuff with V4, but I really wish DAZ would make new stuff that supports Poser. I miss spending copious amounts of cash with them. Oh, well. BTW, the figure in the Galapagos image is Terai Yuki 2, a figure which I still love to this day.

Awesome thread!  And some very impressive and awesome renders too, I can easily see that there's still plenty of improvement to work on for me. But... this was never a competition in the first place and thus...

Alien groping

Next to Daz Studio I'm also using Photoshop Elements as well as Aurora HDR (which can even be used as a plugin) and these programs can help me to fix mistakes but also to add a bit more dynamic to some of my renders. The reason why I am proud of this render is because it took me ages to set up a good HDR map I think I really nailed it with Melanie's skin color.

Ironically enough this render also leads up to the render I'm the least proud of because I ended up taking things a bit too far for my liking, but that's always easily said in hindsight. Having said that though I am very proud of the water effects and how they manage to stand out a bit, you can even see the contour of the shark which I think only adds to the suspense of the scene.

The dragon's gift

While this render has a few problems I still think it worked out quite nicely. What I especially enjoy about it is the female figure, she's based on Genesis which was the very first generation of figures for Daz Studio and now that Genesis 8.1 is a thing some people consider Genesis kinda obsolete. I believe that renders like these clearly show that Genesis still has plenty of potential for making good renders.

Which leads me to...

Hell awaits

If we're going old school then there's nothing more old school than me (well, my avatar, lol!) which is based on Genesis (see previous comment) and this render was also made using the 3Delight engine, which some people would now also consider obsolete since we have both Iray as well as Filament. Each to their own but I'm quite proud of the way my custom lighting turned out here. I'm also happy to see that there are plenty of "Renderoticans" who can appreciate non-sexual contents as well.

Now... hope you'll excuse me but I have a small alien horde to manage, courtesy of our very own DeepSpace3D ✨
