Hey.  Daz Studio question.  Anyone know a cool trick for showing a guy's hard thru his pants?  Most wardrobe item bulge controls produce this crazy unrealistic center poke-out - what I'm looking for is that mound of sausage protruding down one leg or the other.

I gave it a try with the Mesh-grabber, but meh.

Tried the D-formers, yet?

You could try adding a smoothing modifier to the pants, it only works to a degree and depends on the geometry of the pants but may produce the results you are after.
First bend the gens down against and slightly into the leg, if the gens you are using bend that well, or use the usual trick, a rolled up sock :-)
I'm just here by mistake, for a friend, for science... anyway you can't prove nuffin'.

I was gonna say mesh grabber, its great on smaller like simple poke through or extreme stretching like rubber n slime.
For cloth if you are actually using a graft underneath that the clothing wont auto fit to (ie: Dicktator) then I think Blender for modeling a morph for the clothing is best option.
Could also try Face to Face on a Graft side, top, and bottom then clean up with mesh grabber.
OR if you have a photo editor with liquify or mesh deform just inflate it in post.

Ideally, you just take it to ZBrush, create a morph, and import it back with reversed deformations.

But Hexagon or other free modeler works too. You are limited by the pants polygons.

Another option is to create a displacement map.

The collision option mentioned by Digital_Mercury has worked really well for me on regular bulges using a sphere. I had a really old tutorial in my gallery, not sure if it's still there.

Another option I just thought about is (if you know geometry editor or model/sculpt editing and can do basic UV mapping)

If you are using a graft you could probably shell it or split it in a modeler (UV Wrap) then use the pants (denim?) materials tiled up slightly on the partial then model/sculpt (before UV wrap) or use mesh grabber to fill in gaps in-between the original pants and the partial. Quick n dirty but it'd probably work if you're just going a single still image.

OR if everything's posed out then maybe just graft a high res patch on the pants and conform that to the penis, might need to hide seams in post.
