Help needed to get GP3v2 installed properly along GP8

Quite some time ago I acquired GP8 plus the GP3 Update. GP8 works flawless but I have problems installing GP3 so it works equally well.
I'm not completely blank when it comes to installing, and usually working my way round with various products mostly using Content package Assist, I know about zips, content subfolder, dsx and manifest files. With the .dsx supplied I just took the shortcut coying to the the download folder which worked fine for GP8 HL3&8 and all the other Meipe products I have. However not so much with GP3 update which despite all my efforts I never could make show up in smart content along with GP8 and also giving me missing files errors. So, when the opportunity came with the recent sale I just got the full purchase of GP3 (because the product is simply worth it!) in hope this would solve my issues but unfortunately this was not the case.
So, here my question: I have now unistalled all GP3 and deleted the packages from my download folder, GP8 is still installed and working fine (plus PussyWizard, GP UVs and Storming the palace). Now I have t a total of 3 possible files I could install: IM80058205-01_G3FGoldenPalaceG8FUpdate, IM80058205-01_GoldenPalaceforG3Fv2G8FUpdate, or IM80058204-01_GoldenPalaceforGenesis3Femalev2. Which route to take? Just the standalone or, if the update first the base and then the v2 or just the v2? And where should I look for GP3 in Smart Content? Does it create a separate product or are the files under the GP8?

The way the updates have been done the previous versions are not required so you would be fine installing only the Golden Palace for G3F V2 files. (IM80058204-01_GoldenPalaceforGenesis3Femalev2)
I don't use Smart Content so I'm not sure where it puts it, but using Content Library it It should be under People/Genesis 3 Female/Anatomy/Golden Palace V2

Did that - still it won't show up in smart content, while all other products (even the GP3 addons) will... did another round usingriver softs Content Wizard and it complains about missing fileds, one apparently in a mislabelled folder "g3f_g3f_goldenpalace_genitalia_v2"... Will du a little DSX surgery and if I succeed report back -but there's clearly something borked with either the manifest or thge support file

So, took me a while to get back from work to serious stuff :) Unfortunately my problems with GP3 persist and on trying to load an older scen whit the roduct in place I came across something really.... strange:
So, the files do sit where they should, GP8 works fine as all the other products I habve from Meipe, just GP3 rejects to open up (accidential pun) as supposed.

g3f x2?
data/meipex/goldenpalace/g3f_g3f_.....
Might be a .dsx issue or content wizard added it. Might wanna check the Manual Zip version and manually install if you feel comfortable to.
If its an Issue with the script which can only be changed by Meipe, a workaround may be to create a new folder at /goldenpalace location named g3f_g3f.... and then copy paste a copy of the GoldenPalace_2254.dsf file there. Edited by user Wednesday, April 21, 2021 1:55:07 AM(UTC)
