Hello,
I've entered into a partnership with a writer. It's her original story and my illustrations.
As far as I know there are no TOS violations and definitely no copyright infringements.
So once my partner turns it into a pdf, what is the next step?
Any help appreciated.

is you partner a member of Renderotica? are you going in on this project as 50/50 equal shares of the profit?
If yes.... you should consider it a collaboration effort.. this way when there is a sale, each of you will split the the commission and it will be sent to each of your accounts..
I have done a collaboration like this and it works out quite well. especially since he is in the UK
If no... then the commission will go all to you and then you have to send your partner their share. but go to the link provided above and store management will assist you. Who knows what lurks in the hearts of perverted artist....

Hello Shadowman,
Thanks for the reply and advice. My collaborator is not a member and is trusting me to send her a share. Will she trust me with her paypal acct? Don't know. I could do an exchange and take profits off one comic and give her full profit of the other.
I've never done this before, so I'm sort of feeling my way around.
She's worked in a collaborations before, so I should ask how that worked out.

If I understand the new TOS, they do not permit linking to another URL , BUT you could start a blog page and mention it there or you can post it on the READ ME file attached to every submission
As to Pay Pal if your partner gives you her PP account to send her share of the proceeds that's all you can do with her account.
PA PAL is kind of weird at times I get paid via PAP PAL from this site and another. MY account is a business account and if you send $$ from one business account to another there is no fee involved for what they call a standard transfer.. But say you have a credit card on file via PAY PAL and you transfer funds there could be a transfer fee of some 1.6 to 2% and it is usually charged to the the person getting the money... that's how i recalled it as I had a commsion once and had to add on a little extra for the fee I would incur
Getting a business account is not that hard.. you have to send them a voided check and then they confirm the account by sending a small transfer fee of like $1.50 if it goes through then you are considered confirmed and they can set you up with a business account.. At least that is how it was for me many years back..
