Whenever I load Breastacular onto one of my bustier figures, I notice this distortion seems to happen which makes the breasts look like they have a ripple effect:

I've tried changing the resolution, UVs, subdividing and dialing morphs out so I'm not sure what's going on. Nothing fixes it except turning the entire base figure to Base resolution but that essentially makes it unrenderable. I've even put the geo-graft on a fresh G8F, dialing in any breast morph, and it's still present.

I'm not sure how to fix it. Has anyone run into a similar situation? How did you fix it?

I have seen it but it isn't noticeable in my renders.

Try some tests of actual renders and not of the viewport look.

Also what morphs are you using?

Are you using the breastacular morphs or something else?

Not that it matters, I use a mix of his and others, mainly guhzcoituz breast morphs but I have noticed that Meipes breastacular morphs seem to look the most natural with breastacular.

I use the basic morphs from Daz. I found a workaround that solved the problem last night so I'd like to share it for anyone else who runs into the problem.

Applying any of the hidden gloves and setting them to collision targets even if nothing is colliding with the breast will smooth the breasts out. I was trying to apply a generic smoothing modifier before and it wasn't working out.

It doesn't really make a ton of sense why they need to be told to collide and smooth against something not touching them, but it works. This feels like more of a Daz thing than a Breastacular thing so it probably will work elsewhere too.

tl;dr

Even if they're not touching, setting an invisible object to collide can be used to smooth just the geo-graft.
