This is probably a dumb question but is there a way to get the G3F Character presets to work with the G8F Futa shell? For instance Mei Lin 7 preset for the Mei Lin 7 for Genesis 8 Female character or V7 preset for the V7 for G8F character, etc.? I don't get any errors when I try it just plain doesn't apply anything at all so I was just curious. If not, that's fine, I can mostly work with the presets that are available for G8F. Thanks in advance.

Not a dumb question. If the duf files weren't encrypted you could simply change the name from g3 to g8 in the text file. But what i would do is, load a g3 and your g8, load GP on both, and then load the color you want on the GP and copy the surfaces from the g3 shell to the g8 shell, It should work, i have had to do stuff like this before. Remember, the different color selections in texture wizard aren't anything special, there's no separate texture for whatever character you are selecting, when you pick a texture it's just defining the colors on the shell.

Thanks for the reply. Files are encrypted but adding .zip after the .duf then extracting it then it's editable just wasn't sure if there was a way other than that and didn't even think about loading g3, futalicious and then copying the textures from the G3 futa shell to the G8 futa shell. I'll give that a shot & see how it goes thanks a lot. Yeah I never looked into the surface images so I didn't realize it was mostly color defining instead of different textures for each character. Makes a lot of sense to do it that way because texture images for each character seems it would be a lot of work compared to finding one of the textures that's the closest & then tweaking the colors.

You can quickly remove file compression of many files using the batch convert tool within Daz Studio ;)
