I found something interesting when reading about G8.1 this morning,


" Male anatomical elements will now work on females. Conversely, female anatomical elements will work on males. "


Ought to make for some interesting combinations.

Thanks for the info.


I wondered why the Genesis 8 Male Anatomical Elements got updated along with the Genesis 8 Female Essentials. A sign of the times I expect, with DAZ being worried about being targeted by the Blue Checkmarks on Twitter for being transphobic in their range of figures.

I wonder, does this mean that products for Meipe and other artist could work on the other gender? If so, that would be golden! That's something that I've been waiting on forever.

It works even on GF8.0


Only downside: no textures

Only if they were rebuilt for the other figures. Which may or may not happen. All this means is someone at Daz rebuilt the Daz gens for the opposite genders, which is cool, but it isn't because the figure changed, it's because the genitals changed.

Genesis 8 UV Swap: Male and Female Base | 3D Models and 3D Software by Daz 3D


Depending on your taste you might need to track down down some less hairy male characters :)


There are also some LIE makeup sets that will still work to give them some variety.

I will try that product but I don't think the male UV can accommodate large breast size and there is the problem of combining multiple geografts such as Breastacular...

Well I bit the bullet with this one I as of yet have not tried the male parts, I am going to try some experimentations.... This could get very very interesting.

simontemplar, not sure if that would work, I used the junk that came with g8.1 and it worked did not try M8's junk though

What I would like would be to easily blend the textures from G8M gens with g8f torso textures so they actually can work together. For close-up shots, nothing beats Meipe's products but for background characters, until anything comes up, I wish to save on polygons by using simple genitalia.
