Okay, so I've purchased royalty-free music and downloaded several royalty-free sex sounds for my animations, but there's one particular sound clip that's hard to find, a woman saying "fuck me"...so I'm wondering; if I were to cut out a snippet from an existing porn movie, a few seconds or less, how much Copywrite trouble would I be in?

You would likely be smarter to hire a woman to speak the phrase into a microphone or headset and record it, than trying to cut or slice the sound from a porn film, as you would then own the rights and not have to worry about copyright infringement. While copyright can allow a bit of wiggle room under fair use (Usually pertaining to educational use of the work, and very short clips are usually acceptable as long as the use is deemed non commercial) and parody clauses, personally I wouldn't chance it since you can guarantee that a professional production company will have lawyers they will send after you, and chances are if you are using a clip from their film the judge hearing said case is usually going to rule on the side of copyright holder, and if registered correctly you will be liable for any damages deemed appropriate, basically if it comes to you being sued by Copyright holder you could be given a ruling to have to pay damages in an amount of several thousand dollars, if not into the millions, if the Judge decides to make an example of the case. So for me when looking at a choice of paying a small amount to hire someone to speak the phrase, so you can record the sound clip, or possible copyright infringement lawsuits, I would err on the side of caution and hire a woman to say "Fuck me"

With today's affordable technology, it'd be easy to record your own voice overs. You can even record different variations of it (tone/inflection/volume, etc).

Where you may run into issues is getting someone to do the vocals, as depending on what you plan on using the sound for, they may have to sign a waiver, authorizing you to use their voice for commercial purposes.

It today's world, people are very protective of their stuff, so as others have said, err on the side of caution and save yourself a headache
