I'm interested in Fender Bender by Meipe. I downloaded the 3 informative files. I'm on a Macintosh, running 10.15.7 (Catalina). I could open the Readme.txt, but it doesn't show any images. I don't know what kind of files .odt files are, but I couldn't see any images in them. Could you post the Collisions and Fender Bender tutorials on line, or provide some other kind of file that can be opened on a Macintosh, such as .pdf files?

Those files for Fender Blender G8M are indeed .odt files. Probably the source files were put online and not the final PDFs. You could have a look an Fender Blender G8F. There you'll find PDFs. Guess the products are basically the same just working on different target figures.

OK, thank you very much for answering, Optika. I'll go have a look at Fender Bender for G8F and see if I can figure this out. I still would rather have the tutorial and explanations for G8M however.

OK. I read all. I think I see what is going on. It would be better for me, I think, if a version for G8M is posted. There are bound to be some differences between the G8F and G8M versions. So, hopefully this will be posted soon.

.odt are Office files that are similar to .pdf.

I'm afraid as well as .pdf had been accepted with changes Adobe has made there may be a lot of people dumping the format as Adobe keeps moving into the software as subscriptions and cloud based programs models.

However if you need to open the .odt files LibreOffice is a good and free open source program that is being made for Windows, macOS, and Linux and will read and write .odt files as well as a slew of other formats. It is currently my go to word processing program and I have it on both my Ubuntu and Windows machines.

Well, thank you. I'm reading about LibreOffice. I really don't need an office suite, however. But it walloped the .odt files, right?

I agree with the comments about Adobe. I've gone from using Photoshop to using AffinityPhoto.

Another question: If I buy Fender Bender, can I put it in a 3rd Party Folder, following the DAZ structure? Will it still work in a separate Content Directory?

LibreOffice will load the .odt files with no problem.

As to the second question, it works fine in a separate directory, I use the older Content directory rather than the newer My Library or My Daz Library directories, I also have my Content set up on a different drive than the program itself and it works fine.
