Installing breastacular manually on mac ( and DICKTATOR )
1- make sure daz and daz-installer are not running
2- From the renderotica web site download BreastacularforGenesis8Female.zip
to the downloads folder
3- after it downloads it will self extract, and you will have a folder
called BreastacularforGenesis8Female. this is all you need
4- If it does not self extract then make sure you unzip it.
5- double click on the folder BreastacularforGenesis8Female,
to open it. You will find a folder inside called CONTENT.
open that folder, you are looking for 3 folders called DATA, PEOPLE, RUNTIME.
6 - These are the 3 magic folders regardless of where they are you need to locate them.
during this procedure keep your folders in ICON mode its easier to select them.
7 - you will now locate the daz folder to drop the 3 folders called DATA , PEOPLE,
RUNTIME into.
8 this folder is called > My DAZ 3D LIBRARY
9 - to locate it , open a new finder window , by selecting FILE> NEW FINDER
WINDOW
On the side bar scroll down to your HARD DRIVE. then look for this path
HARD DRIVE > USERS > SHARED > MY DAZ 3D LIBRARY
10- open up the folder called My DAZ 3D library in icon mode
you will now shift select the 3 previous folders called DATA ,PEOPLE , RUNTIME.
11 while all 3 are selected you will press alt/option on the keyboard and drag them
onto the MY DAZ 3D LIBRARY. folder.
at this point you will be presented with a dialogue window, asking if you want to STOP
REPLACE or MERGE… the operating system detects you are trying to copy a folder
into another folder that has a folder with a similar name and doesn’t want you to fuck
it all up
12- in the dialogue window there is a tick box called “apply to all” tick it and select
MERGE
13- now close all windows and RESTART the computer.
when you open DAZ you will find everything in the correct place after the RESTART
all you need to do is follow the instructions in the PDF provided .
this procedure is the same for DICKTATOR software also.
I am using mac OS 10.13.6 HIGH SIERRA the computer is irrelevant the point is the
software works fine its not the problem, as it is working perfectly on my system.
i thought this may help any mac users.
