So, I am still very new to all of this and still learning, I'm sure this question may seem a little dumb to most of you, but we all started somewhere, so what does it mean Turn Limits off or leave them on, and how do you go about doing this,
Thank You to all who reply, Stay safe !!!!!!

Generally, if a pose asks, I turn them off, but look at the readme file that's included with the set; sometimes it will tell you to leave them on. All DAZ figures have built in limits for how far a limb can move, you'll see them in the parameters tab. For example, select the 'left shoulder bend' slider on G8F. Move it all the way in one direction, then all the way in the other direction. Where it stops is the default limit. You can turn that off by clicking on the little gear icon at the top right of the slider, and clicking 'parameter settings'. This will open a dialog box, and you will see a yellow checkmark for 'use limits'. Uncheck it, and you can spin that arm as far as you want, but too far, and the mesh will break.
Sometimes, a pose will require more movement than is built-in, so the pose creators will turn the limits off to get the pose to look how they want. When they do, and you apply that pose, you will get the dialog box asking if you want to turn the limits off. Again, check the readme file that came with the pose set, but generally speaking, I always turn limits off if I'm asked.

matt has provided a really clear and concise explanation. You don't have to wait for a pose product to ask. From time to time I find that the limits prevent me from moving something (eg the thumb) to be hidden or actually look right, so I turn them off then. It is only the specific parameters which are affected.
