Every product you buy should come with a license along with a Read Me file. Read them and take nothing for granted.
Usually in the comic business, Most props are sold and given the right for commercial use. If you use freebies then you should ask permission of the vendor. Best to save any corespondence in that regard. and at the back of your stories create a disclaimer page, and thank the vendors who gave you the products to work with. Do not have to go name by name but just do an overall thank you, but for the freebies give them a shout by name
There has been talk about having to buy a 2nd license for animation creation as some of these figures have the ability to appear in an video game and the original license may not pertain that medium.
As mention, so not share your products or resell them, THAT WILL get you in hot water.. That license was intended for you and you only.and yes every country has their own rules in regards to production of comic art and what is taboo.and if you post here, get in touch with store management and be ready to have samples.
